Could you port the mod to this version of the game? It’s a nearly complete English translation. Some of the translations are in the .exe.
Currently with this version of the game, the modded .exe works to play the game (with many of the elements of the game untranslated), but EDI doesn’t get the playback commands for the scripts.
I will look into the syncing problem.
Should the “now” and “game” parameters just be send with every /Play post request or all other request like /Stop too? What value should the “game” parameter have? Am I free to chose one myself like “usaecchi”?
The .exe is just the Flash Player bundled with the .swf into a single exectutable. It actually doesn’t matter which player is used to play the swf, the looping animations are laggy in all of them. I am currently also writing a mod for “Wolf Girl with You ~ Full Moon Edition” and in that flash game the loops are not laggy which suggests that the laggy loops in USA Ecchi are caused by the game’s code itself. But I’ve never worked with actionscript or flashplayers before, only for this mod so I can’t say for sure whats the cause
I fixed the synchronisation issue and updated the game mod download link. The mod is now for the english version of the game. The animations should be in sync now with the expense of stuttering when the video playback lags on fast looping animations, which is just the downside of a laggy video that has to be synced to the handy.
Note for the English version: You have to turn captions on to get the English for spoken dialog.
I’d love to test this mod, but it seems my Handy has died (motor’s fine, but something’s wrong with the electronics, and it can’t start up properly, and the few times it does start up, it quickly restarts)… And it’s likely to be months until I can afford to buy another…
