Gay is not 'unpopular'

Hope it’s okay to chime in here, because I think I might the prime target user / demographic for this feature - I mostly use the site for scripts / light browsing with very low direct interaction - this feature would honestly be close to a godsend for me, as my preferences favor strictly CIS male content, and I’ve found the tagging system to be somewhat robust but also extremely confusing and have never actually been able to figure it out to the point where it actually hides content which I have a high dislike for (which, by the way, is equal to the amount that straight men evidently have for seeing cock in any way, shape, or form). It’s definitely not alienating enough to just not use the site, but it does make the experience highly unpleasant. For a straight male, who wants to remove all gay content, they just filter out the gay tag. For a user like me, I’m having to go through the entirety of the tag list to remove anything straight.

And I also recognize that strictly gay male content is very low in popularity and the interest just isn’t really there (look at the state of gay VR…) - so by numbers it reasonably shouldn’t be very high on the priority list - and that this has shaped my expectations as a user, which then compounds and feels worse when tags aren’t working for me the way I would like them to and undesirable content continues to be shown in every feed.

I hope this is helpful just as a description of how some, of course not all, of the user experience has felt for me over the last ten or so months.

EDIT: Just as an aside, if it piques anyone’s interest: I have a whole theory about why gay pornographic interactive content is not very popular and just doesn’t really resonate with most gay men, if you wanna chat.
