Getting started on MultiFunPlayer

Hello, I recently decided to change from ScriptPlayer to MultiFunPlayer, and i cant make any sense of it, but to sum it up, i have a couple question about some topics, hope someone can lend me a hand.

  • I noticed that i can toggle media source to link a video with the script, ¿do i have to pick and install any of the media players listed? ¿Is the “internal” option not for my default media player?

  • I noticed a row of buttons by the names of L0, L1, L2, etc.¿What are those for?

  • When i connect my device (lovense) it start vibrating and wont stop until i disconect it, ¿Is it like that by default? i have not found a way to turn it down

Hope someone can give me a hand with that, i would be thankful for the help

I’ve only used MFP with an external player and never for vibrating toys so I can’t help you with that.

However, the buttons represent different axis.
This is taken from the How-To on github for MFP:

Common

Axis Description Valid file names
L0 Up/Down <video name>.funscript
L1 Forward/Backward <video name>.surge.funscript
L2 Left/Right <video name>.sway.funscript
R0 Twist <video name>.twist.funscript
R1 Roll <video name>.roll.funscript
R2 Pitch <video name>.pitch.funscript

TCode v0.2

Axis Description Valid file names
V0 Vibrate <video name>.vib.funscript
V1 Pump <video name>.lube.funscript
L3 Suction <video name>.suck.funscript

TCode v0.3

Axis Description Valid file names
V0 Vibrate <video name>.vib.funscript
A0 Valve <video name>.valve.funscript
A1 Suction <video name>.suck.funscript
A2 Lube <video name>.lube.funscript

Internal means internal to MFP, it is used to play funscripts only without a video.
Easiest to setup is mpv, if you try to connect it MPF will prompt you to download latest portable version to the bin folder next to MFP executable.
Otherwise yes you have to install/configure one of the other video players.

You probably mapped the vibe to L0. L0 has a default position of 50% so it sets your vibe to 50% strength by default.
You have to use V0/V1 which have default value of 0%.
