God-tier DIY lube: Apparently nobody here knows this recipe

This recipe intrigued me, so I tried it out.

However, you don’t need to use the convoluted mocha pot method: simply heat flax seeds in water at a ratio of 1Tbsp seeds to 1 cup of water, using a strainer to contain the seeds. Simmer for 20-30 minutes, then remove the seeds.

The result is very interesting, with a gel-like consistency and little odour or taste. It’s very slick, but does not cling like oil, taking some effort to adhere to your skin when cold. The comparison to natural vaginal lubricants is rather accurate.

I have not extensively tested it, but the initial results seem promising. The nature of the lubricant may render it somewhat unsuitable for open-ended sleeves, as it may end up being forced out too readily.

I just wanted to tell you that, as a scientist, i used to make various cell culture media with very interesting ingredients (not optimal for tank fermentation due to viscosity, proteins, etc). I used flaxseed in some and found that the consistency of the gel is highly dependent on pH. I believe it thins out when you bring the pH down (citric acid, lemon juice, etc) and thickens when you bring the pH back up (sodium bicarb or similar). You can use this trick to thin it for straining and thickening to get it to the right consistency
