You dont need the socks, just the harness and the velcros and thats it.
Most of the onaholes seem to flare out quite a bit at the open end. How much does this interfere with the slide or case of the Handy?

Got mine setup if you still needed help. Dont have a photo but basically you have to get the belt to look like his, you pull it up your waist and have the two dangling straps go around your legs.
After that you have to put the handy under the ring part of the belt with the velcro, that will hold the tension on the handy.
Adjust straps on legs accordingly to keep stable.
