After some thought, I assembled this device. The connection was excellent after 3D printing and heat-melting the nuts in. The Vesa support also has some counterweight to prevent tipping. The whole set cost about $18. Previously, I used Hand3 strapped to my lower abdomen, but it constantly compressed my abdomen during rapid exercise. Now that problem is solved.
Well done on finding something that works better for you👏
For the hands3 - Were you using 2 belts to secure it to yourself on your pubic bone?
Also, did you try the hands3 with the vesa plate? You can use nuts and bolts or simple zip/cable ties to attach it on the vesa plate - As the hold is from above, this can give you more space below too.
I’ve printed and used a few different varriations of this design. It served me well (before the hands free cup was released, and have and H2 now so they are collecting duist atm). The only downside that I found was that the little tabs that hold everything together tend to break. I fixed this with screws, and with remixing to printing with less pieces: both worked well. Just don’t put a screw through your Handy like I almost did.
