…i’m sure there are far more detailed reviews about to hit in the next few days, so i just wanted to give my first impressions as a user. i have a somewhat unique set up, but one i’ve not changed for many years, so it’s quite a good test bed for spotting operational differences.
For context, here’s my setup. i use a bench to present the device, and remodelled my old Handy 1 set up directly, as opposed to make a new one (too lazy + i like consistency…). The end result looked like this:
All a bit crude, whilst i was getting the angles right, etc. It’ll get some serious polish later, when i’m happy. Went for both holes (as a man of culture…), for the added strength. Glad i did, as apparently the fixings may have a design fault. Will keep an eye on them. It is, however, rock solid, i can literally swing it like a club if i chose. Much more secure than the H1 ever was:
It’s then fitted to the Suck-O-Mat sleeve and pump:
So, the action of the vacuum sleeve presents considerable torque issues for the Handy. i burnt through two Handy’s in the first two years with suction, getting to know it, only reason the last one’s still going is i moved to non-scripted machines, and gave it a break. Point being, it puts considerable strain on the machine, which translates into a loss of movement, slow responses, and the need for a lot of lube.
H2ProOC didn’t give two fucks. Didn’t matter how much torque i applied (by creating max vacuums and oppositional pump movements) it just cut straight through it, delivering a clean, precise set of powerful movements at all times. The sheer amount of raw power this machine has is staggering. It’s night and day compared to the H1. Complete game changer, in my opinion.
My original brief was to rack up some H2ProOC style material immediately, but it turns out the damned machine is so good, i was struggling in the early stages of such madness to keep control! So instead i went for some of my favourite old school scripts, nothing outrageous, but quality material, i knew well. And it completely blew me away. Scripts i thought i knew well suddenly had movements and subtleties i’d never properly felt before. Every little flick, every little twitch, every soft slow motion, every sudden thrust, all captured perfectly.
Also, the extra 2cm really made a difference for me with my completely average sized cock. Very noticeable that i was getting the full stroke, excellent upgrade.
So, that’s the good. Personally i didn’t get much bad, but it’s early days yet, took me months to break my first Handy, so no rush. If it’ll break, i can break it. i’ll keep an eye on the screw holes, word on the street is they have issues. i don’t ever touch the buttons anyway, or even hold the device, so issues that others may have because of the new button placements don’t affect me.
i did notice the weird vibration when it was moving at slow speed! That might be something to do with [Motor Turn Behaviour], OC setting puts it to 0, which is the jerky but responsive setting. Or it might be something completely different. Hopefully it’s just a firmware fix.
One odd thing that happened, i was charging and using at the same time, and about 40 mins in the machine just stopped dead, big cross flashing on the LED with 92% in the background. Unplugged it, rebooted it, and it worked fine, so i think it’s got a ‘don’t overcharge me when working me’ function somewhere, or summint.
Also, towards the end i did put on an absolute Handy breaker of a script from years ago, and just ran it at full power with full torque, to see what it would do. The H2 smashed its way through it perfectly, but i did notice the red light had come on after a while. So maybe two hours of work, then some stress testing to get it to that stage? Like a massive noob, i completely forgot i can check battery temps on the app, till ten mins later, when it had cooled down to 65c. At which point i noticed it has a cut-off at 110c, with 10c hysteresis, so i didn’t need to panic, it would have shut off anyway. However, i would love an option where the motor temp is displayed on the LED, especially when the red light is on. Would be reassuring to know at a glance…
