Firstly, have you updated the firmware? Was that part of the onboarding? If not, go here in a web browser, use your new Handy 2 Pro’s connection key (top right), and go to “Configure device” under the Settings section:
Assuming the device is now up to date, does the “Random stroker” on that site work? How about the “Video player” when you choose a local video and local script?
If those both work then that’s good news. What software is generating the “Internal Server Error”? It might help to provide more information
Sorry it’s not working for you yet! Must be super frustrating when you have a new device and it doesn’t work properly.
I guess the good news is that the manual/random feature works. So at least the Handy is functional and working with commands. But yeah, confusing now as to why it won’t work.
What browser are you using in Windows 11? Are you using any extensions or plugins? Sometimes those, especially ad-blockers, can stop sites working correctly. If you’re using say Chrome, try downloading Firefox and using that?
Do you have easy access to a VPN? Sometimes ISPs or country-wide blocks can break things. If you do have a VPN, try connecting to that and using the handy site again. Any difference?
Is there anything special about the videos + scripts you’re trying? I’m guessing they’re the same ones as you use with the Handy 1 so should work. But maybe try a different video + script in case something’s wrong with a Windows/browser playback codec?
Good luck!
EDIT: Oh, might also be worth trying an app like ScriptPlayer?
I am now faulting back to ScriptPlayer. Sadly the Handy 2 pro is not syncing well at all. (is out of sync, feels like it is hallucinating strokes/patterns.)
Anyways, i tried a few browsers and vpns. nothing seems to be working not even on Faptap.
I am out of ideas and already thinking about a refund.
So have you tried using ivdb token scripts? The other option is that your dns is messed up. I ran into this a few times. One pc works but another PC that I use for vr (psvr2) it would sometimes fail. So I would have to do ipconfig /flush honestly I would try scripts from other sources like faptap or ivdb just to rule out anything locally happening. Long shot here since you are able to connect to handy servers in the browser.
But also how are you loading the scripts, it seems you are able to do so with script player but it’s out of sync? What are you using normally?
I normaly (with the h1) use Handyverse/newhandyfeeling, faptap. none of these work with the H2P.
DNS should be fine, since i get the same problem via mobile hotspot on my phone.
With script player i can only do it with bluetooth, and it is horrendous so not goin to do that anymore. what is weird to me, is that everything works, except playing scripts via wifi. Even the remote control and the random stroker option, on the same page (handyverse) does work.
