I tried the sleeve that came with the h1 and it was way too small. So I went for the gen2. Good size and good fit. The tpe is OK but it gets the job done.
I’m thinking of upgrading but I wanted to hear some reviews from people who I know are using these items.
Also if you have any suggestions for sleeves fire away!
It’s a bit large but does a great job keeping things together (previously the suction and up and down action made the sleeves get pulled out of the velcro strap) , this seemed like a good solution.
If there are other options for sleeve holders that are a bit smaller or leaves the option of different sleeve brands open I’m all ears too!

Until they design one with a loop design or a bigger ledge to hang on to the strap im done giving them money.
It is infuriating to constantly have to fumble with the damn thing to keep it from pushing out of the strap mid session.
I agree the Gen1 is a bit snug/short, but it still lives in my rotation. The Gen2 is better, but a bit flimsy (thin walled) without a lot of sensation.
The Silk is an improvement over the Gen2. The best way to describe it is it feels “wetter”. I can’t say you get much sensation from the nubs and bobs, but it does feel better than the others.
Personally, I think the Gen3 is simply the best sleeve they have. It’s similar to the feel as the silk even though I believe it’s TPE, and it has thicker walls. It’s now my go-to sleeve by a wide margin. I bought 4 extras just in case they get discontinued.

I think that’s reasonable. It would help to have something a little more reliable in the design. Nothing worse than interrupting things with SCREEEEETCH of velcro.

Good info. That does sound attractive to me. But maybe it’s worth trying the gen3 first, costs less and it sounds like you’re giving it a good endorsement. At half the cost it seems like a good purchase.

Personally i think the best sleeves from the handy themselves are the Gen2 ones, Gen3 for me was immediate no go, and based on what you said it will be the same for you as well, by the fact alone that they reduced it’s length from the Gen 2 closer to what the Gen1 had.
My personal favorite is indeed the Gen2 silk edition, it’s material makes it feel kinda like more “comfy?” than the rest, it has a lot more sleek and wetter feeling to it, in terms of stimulation, comparing it to the normal version of the gen2 is a bit more gentle / softer in that regard due to the material itself which personally for me is very much appreciated as i prefer those types of sleeves over a sleeves that are more on the tighter side and more overstimulating.
On the other hand if you like sleeves more on the high stimulation / rougher side, i can’t recommend enough of the newer Mod series, mainly the larger one.
All this of course speaking only of what handy sells, as there is most likely better options for everything you would prefer outside of those, but yeah at end of the day depends a bit more on what you like, and your physical characteristics, like size and such, to sway a recommendation for a different one than a version of the Gen2, be it the normal one or silk version.
A side note to add here is that i don’t like and rarely used any kind of open ended sleeves so i can’t comment on those.
I wasn’t aware gen3 was shorter. I’m already hitting bottom on the gen2, which isn’t a bad thing as I like that pressure. But if the gen3 is as short as the default sleeve then it’s just not going to work. Think thimble lol.
I’m also hesitant on opened ended sleeves. I like being able to get that full stroke, but considering I use the handy in the goofy foot orientation it would lead to things getting into the works.
The Gen3 is longer than the Gen1, but shorter than the Gen2. The trick with the Gen3 is putting extra lube in it, which it can actually hold on to. It has a lot of internal surfaces that benefit greatly from more lube. Also the Gen3 has a stretchy “bulb” at the top that feels good too and allows for more give. To me at least. The texture alone is the amazing thing IMO.
But, I use Astoglide Gel which tends to stay in all the sleeves better than most lubes, so you can liberally apply it (until it’s very slick), especially inside the Gen3.
Everyone’s unit is different, so it really is difficult to give and take recommendations.
I also really like the Mod sleeve mentioned by @OTE_Scripts mentioned. Great sensation, but the inside texture rings separated (on all 3 that I bought) after 3-8 uses, rendering them useless.
Damn that sucks mate, maybe they were defective? already used mine at least 50+ times at this point, no problems at all with it.
That’s exactly the one, the other ones are a lot more tighter so i didn’t enjoy them, but if that’s your thing, they might be good for you as well!
The green part had a more firm texture to it and really increases the levels of stimulation from it, but if you like the fit of the Gen2 you’ll probably like this one as well, it’s wider than the Gen2 but with the protrusions of the green part it ends up being a very similar feeling to the Gen2 in terms of tightness.
Yeah, I figured the first one I received was from a bad batch, but it lasted longer than the replacements. It was only the lower and middle rings that separated when they did. Maybe just bad luck. I really did like the texture.
