HELP me choosing servos upgrade for osr2+

Tbh, I would still try to add some padding of some sort on the edges of the tin. Rather you eliminate the risk than playing by chance.

I’ll dip some hot glue on the sharp corners when I remake the arms :+1:

How does this brushless nangu s32-e
0.075s/60deg 28.5Kg.cm torque at 7.4v 128CNY for each
ps:I’m a newbie

and LIEYING/1020 MG995/996(20KG)
0.13s/60deg 21.32Kg.cm torque at 6v 35CNY for each
It is very cheap but not brushless

I started with mg996r. And I can asure you they are ablsolute garbage compair to what I use now.
they are not strong enough and gear is kind loose which makes the holder very wobly

the angle speed is good enough but 28Kg.cm torque maybe depends on how heavy your onahole is

Valuable experience :+1:
I still have some questions
1.How much do you think brushless is necessary? Is it worth spending an extra hundred or two hundred? (I heard brushless is more quiet)
2.From your reply, it seems that metal casing and steel gears are necessary, right?
3.How much torque can carry 1 KG onahole ?

If you don’t mind it being very loud it’s not nesssary (which is really loud), I tried cover it with a sheet, it worked well compare to the FH music but it gets hot over time. Maybe you can wear a headphone with good noise canelling.

idk about metal casing, anyway it usually come with metalgear and this is required considering your 1Kg onahole

This may depends on how many units/sec(or what effect) you want to achive.
In my 700g case 31Kg.cm 0.08sec/60deg is enough to archive ~10cm stroke(~45deg servo movement) range at roughly ~700units/s according to the slowmo and I usually use 60% of the range so could be faster

How about hollow cup servos. Is it quieter than brushless?

sry never used one
