How can I use the Handy with a WMR headset?

Has anyone used the Handy with a WMVR headset? Wondering what the best way to sync videos to it is.
I found it very cumbersome with the launch, I bought Whirlygig, but had a hard time getting it to work with ScriptPlayer, the WMVR app would launch first and caused problems with getting the video to display on the headset through Whirlygig. It was so cumbersome, I just gave up on it and stuck to 2D content. I guess this is more of a WMVR question than anything else, but just looking for a couple bulleted steps on the best approach, if I can get it up and running for myself I’d be happy to write up a detailed tutorial to post here, just don’t want to re-invent the wheel.

Hi @hobosg - The fastest and simplest and best working way to connect your Handy with any VR headset would be using the SLR/DeoVR app I would say.

I would recommend opening WMR portal first, then Opening SteamVR, then opening the SLR/DeoVR app in that order.

You just need to get your Handy connection Key and put that in the “connect to Handy” option in the SLR/DeoVR app, and once connected you can browse your local files, just make sure they are matching videos and funscript names, and use -50ms delay for best sync

Thanks very much everyone!

So when trying to use DeoVR, SteamVR sends a warning that the controller is not supported, and then the app just crashes. I did make sure WMVR Home auto loaded, then opened steamVR and then DeoVR from there.

Then tried the SLR app installed via the executable from the SLR website, no warnings and I see it start to load in SteamVR (double clicked shortcut from desktop), but it also crashes.

I am going to try on another computer tomorrow and see, not sure what to try on this machine, drivers are all up to date.
