Not much more complicated than the title lol. I was curious about what sorts of scripts different folks here tend to finish themselves off with after a session. Anyone use one very specific script? Load up a playlist and just see how long you can go for? I’m curious about some new ways to change up the ritual, so to speak.

I try to do a few new videos in my backlog every session so I make note of ones that put me on the edge to go back to as potential finishers but I also have a list of ol reliable’s that I go back to often

for me it’s a nightmare, maybe about 80% of my sessions has ended badly, I mean ruinend endind with overwelming stimulation ruining the “end”.
the number are just my impressions. but that 20% I have to thanks to real slow scripts.
slow scripts are rare expecialy for VR, but some users are starting to produce something new. and somethnig old is possible to find with the search bar and andvanced filters.
I have opened this topic recently that is about slow scripting, I truly hope that it will increase during time, I mean I hope more creators will make true slow scripts.
I hope in the next future the Handy company will produce an hadware add on for “twist” movements to apply to the Handy 1 and 2. that + slow scripting art could really improve the situation imho.
the problem is also another. the hardware doesn’t know when the player is about to end the session. so it continue to follow the script and that is a very old conception of technolgy if we think about the AI era where we are at the moment, and all the smart devices that we have and can somehow read the body and translate it so data to be analysed. if the device could understand the players is about to end maybe it could stop moving like crazy if the scene is doig that, and help to focus on the real player ending.
at the moment the situation is complete nightmare from that perspective imho. it’s not smart from every device point of view. the only point of view available is what a player can do without counting on the device. basically interrupt the session ending it “off script” somehow. the device could be used in manual mode with the on board controls for example.
but the devices imho needs a “next gen” step of evutuon. imho it needs to read the players biometric datas and also improve gentle stimulations adding multiaxis (twist movements, absoluteley)
For me, I have a folder of ‘finisher’ scripts, depending on my mood.
I remember seeing a post months ago about someone making software that involved a cum button; Whenever you got close, you could hit the button and skip to a different scene in a video and play out the ending. Or something. I’ve slept since then… You can always unplug your device if it gets too intense.
that button is very interesting, maybe the Handy company could use one of the avaiable phisical buttons on the device for that if the delevopers could take inspiration for the community ideas.
I wish also button that could also slow down the script “going out of sync” until pressed again. I really wisht those buttons could be customisable.
This just goes to reinforce that there is a wide wide range of ways people use funscripts. I have never for a second considered a “finisher” script–I finish on whatever script is tied to the scene that finally does it for me.

I use speed limit in MFP configured with a keybind when I start to get close so that it’s not too intense. It works no matter how fast the script is.
Also, when you’re talking about The Handy company or similar companies integrating biometric data evaluation into their devices, that would be an extremely expensive research and development process. This is a relatively small community of sex toy users. It’s a huge ask without any guarantee for a payoff. Ultimately, these are companies with the goal of making a profit, so I don’t anticipate anything like that will be coming with script-compatible devices in the near to mid term. There are some people in this community working on it, but it’s not something a mainstream company is going to spend time and money on. It’s a rather bespoke process at the moment.

For me the sleeve makes a lot of difference as well. The Handy stamina sleeves don’t have any texture which means much better finishing experience and I can go for faster scripts.
Ditto. I don’t really like to break immersion and prefer to stick to a script. If the finishing sequence is lack luster, I’ll just switch entirely to a video/script until completion.
I usually finish on whatever script I am on, in most cases using a randomized playlist of all the videos in my folder; that is if I don´t specifically play one script that I looked forward to.
But I still have a finisher-folder, full of scripts that just hit the sweet spot for me and get the job done fast, mostly when I want things to end, worked through some more disappointing scripts that are new or for example run out of time.
So best case it plays out naturally, but in case it doesn´t I still have the big hammer of high quality scripts paired with high quality videos
Same here. If I been gooning daily for a while I need a good chunk of red on the heat map to actually finish, say 2-3 min. I make sure to have at least one such script at hand, in case the one I am watching doesn’t do it for me.
I’ve mentioned before in other threads that I wish the handy had a physical button on the device to switch to a second script so we could upload a finisher script to it. Pausing what I’m watching to switch to something else is a pain and a buzzkill, even if uploading is faster.
I don’t get how anyone can enjoy these scripts for videos that are 0-2 minutes. I’m not going to pretend that I can’t finish that fast, but if I’m going to pull out my handy and plug it in and set it up for hands free and commit to needing to clean up a sleeve after instead of just throwing away tissue, then I want the experience to last more than 2 minutes.
So, I choose videos in the 20+ minute range. If this script is a slow/tease one I’ll just let it finish me off whenever I’m content, or I’ll fast-forward to a faster section or the end (a bit of a gamble if it’s a new script I haven’t tried before). Even still, not the best. I prefer how some interactive experiences like Lustbound or Virtual Succubus and even Fap Instructor have distinct finishing modes, but said experiences sorta suck in that they may decide to end it before you’re ready.

Just FYI, for those using DeoVR on a Quest, you can assign the edging range (bottom 1/6th of the range for me) to a controller button. So in case you’re about to loose control, you can just tap that button to swap to the limited range. It works really well, especially if you don’t use the edging range for anything else.
Neat, I wish more tools had that functionality. Whenever I’m watching a scripted video I just also pull up the handy website on a separate window on a different screen or device to control the range. Not convenient, but within my wheelhouse as long as I’m using wifi mode and not bluetooth.
Usually with a little hi hat followed by a bass solo….yknow…sumpin funky.
