I got tired looking for a simple way to play VR videos and sync them to scripts for The Handy. All paths somehow lead to paid, experimental programs or websites.
But it is actually much simpler, and possible for FREE, without any BS.

Open Handyverse on a WebXR compatible browser (Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Chromium…)

Make sure your VR headset and software (like SteamVR) is turned on

Connect your device at the top right

Select video and script
-
Toggle VR video.
If the video player bugs out, resize your browser window, it’ll work afterwards.

Under advanced settings, choose the correct video format, trial and error if you don’t know

Wear your headset, video and script should play
