How to connect Keon with Scriptplayer and Intiface

I have downloaded Scriptplayer and Intiface Central from their respective websites and I’m trying to connect them to my Keon so I can play some 2D video scripts. For some reason, the Scriptplayer and Intiface Central refuses to connect with my Keon. The Keon is flashing blue but it seems the Scriptplayer and Intiface Central can’t connect or find it. When trying to scan in Scriptplayer connected to Intiface, the Intiface logs do show this thing called “KEON WIFI” but I have no ability to access it.

I did notice people talking about a BLE dongle (am I supposed to buy one? I’m not certain but I think my laptop does have a BLE driver) that is needed for this. If so, where do I buy one?

Any help is appreciated!

You need bluetooth, it is a bluetooth device. Go to amazon and search for one if your computer doesn’t have one. If it does, turn on bluetooth and intiface should connect to Keon once it starts looking for devices.

Thanks for the reply!

I have bluetooth turned on for my computer. I am able to connect it to my bluetooth earbuds and headphones. For some reason intiface can’t connect to Keon when it scans for devices even after a long time. Here is what I’m seeing:

just to make sure DONT pair your keon with the pc
And yes if i remember right BLE 4.0 is (could be 4.2)minimum requirment
If you have an older laptop the it might not support BLE

How to check for BLE support

  1. Open Device Manager: Search for and select “Device Manager” from the taskbar.
  2. Find your Bluetooth adapter: Expand the “Bluetooth” section and locate your Bluetooth wireless adapter (e.g., “Intel Wireless Bluetooth”).
  3. Open Properties: Right-click on the adapter and select “Properties”.
  4. Check the Advanced tab: Go to the “Advanced” tab.
  5. Find the LMP version: Look for the “LMP” (Link Manager Protocol) number under “Firmware” or “Bluetooth Radio Information”.

What the LMP version means

  • An LMP version of 6 or higher indicates that your device fully supports BLE technology.

Thanks for the response! The LMP version I have is “12.47269”.

I don’t know why it still isn’t connecting. I’m not pairing it with my PC. I have it beside me at the blue lights are flashing. Intiface Central seems to detect a “KEON WIFI” in my logs but I don’t know how to connect to it. Its not showing up in the “devices” tab of Intiface Central.

I’m guessing its supposed to automatically connect but its not doing that. I don’t have my Keon connected to anything (although I do have it linked to FeelConnect on my phone but its turned off)

I appreciate any advice!

Open Scriptplayer and Intiface. Connect Scriptplayer to Intiface(Scriptplayer>Devices>Buttplug/Intiface>Connect).
Once its connected, Scriptplayer>Devices>Buttplug/Intiface>Scan for devices.

I am having the same issue as well. I downloaded Intiface on my iPhone and started the server and it could find Keon WiFi in the logs but not connecting to it. The fact that Keon is showing up under Bluetooth devices means that Intiface is able to find it.
It’s a new KEON that I purchased and it just got an update as soon as I connected with the FeelConnect app. I believe it’s a newer firmware and PCB and the protocol is not yet configured in Intiface?

P.S. I also had an older Keon and using the same steps Intiface used to automatically connect to KEON.

Same issue here too, I can see through the log that intiface can find my Keon (newly purchased) but it is not connecting or showing on the list of devices. I’ve tried it on windows 10, windows 11 and android and get the same result on each. I can connect to the FeelConnect app on android without issue so the Keon does seem to be working fine!

Connecting scriptplayer to intiface and scanning for devices through that as suggested above doesn’t fix the issue for me.

Yeah seems to be the issue. My Keon is very new. Probably an updated firmware being incompatible with the Intiface. Do y’all know any alternatives to Scriptplayer/Intiface?

the new keon wifi is full of shit. it doesnt work with anything but the feelconnect app. then when you update it via feelconnect app it doesnt show up on any bluetooth anymore at all. i also have another keon thats older and works perfect with pc bluetooth and intiface, so i know what im talking about. I cant use this keon for anything but shitty feelconnect.

And kiiro sent me this bullshit in chat
The Keon device with firmware V3.0.2 prioritizes connection via the FeelConnect app and may not appear as a standard Bluetooth device on PC or phone. Please ensure the app is updated to the latest version and running when connecting, and try restarting your Keon device, PC, and phone. We’ll escalate this to the technical team as the firmware update may have changed Bluetooth behavior.
