my phone can’t see the pc and when i try to add a device, it can’t find it
Thanks so much for your helpyou need to search for Keon when the Keon is powered on (blue flashing light on Keon) though
Now I have uninstalled the Bluetooth dongle and am trying to reinstall it. Is it working now! Thanks anyway for your help
Awesome, uninstalling and reinstalling is good idea - glad to hear!
It all worked fine… and i was almost ready to publish my own scripted file…
I start up intiface, start server etc works fine.
I start scriptplayer and it connect to server and it finds keon, it also does a handshake move with my keon. Now comes the problem: It does not play the sript anymore! is there a place where i can download previous versions or manually downgrade the software?
Through the SLR app works everything fine but playing the scripts with pc is a problem.
Any suggestions?
Is there a way to connect the handy to scriptplayer?
i have a psvr and so SLR and deovr arent an option for me (im not a fan of facebook i dont want to buy a quest as it needs a facebook account and i dont want to spend 600 bucks for a vive and another 600 to upgrade my pc). Also i like scriptplayer. I can get my kiiroo onyx+ to work. but not the handy as it doesnt have bluetooth but the handy is the by far superior machine. I now use the handyfeeling site and its ok but would prefer scriptplayer.
Yes for sure theres a way - I’ll try to add instructions later, but its easy to connect with Scriptplayer and Handy:
Just enter your connection key here:
Then press the ‘Wifif’ button on your Handy Device
Then in Scriptplayer - Select ‘Devices’ Tab and then ‘Connect to Handy directly’
Can you specify what you mean here?
When in doubt, check your script file name is matching and with simple characters, or just drag and drop script file onto scriptplayer window
ah thx
I think i need to get a newer version of scriptplayer as mine doesnt have the handy option
You need to download a pre-release (v1.1.1). The latest official release doesn’t have Handy support.
A month a go the player worked fine and now it doesnt…
Used it and it works now
Changed the range a time ago and the KEON did fine until update.
yeah i saw, it works now makes testing my scripts much easier.
Keon on Mac connects to
https://playground.buttplug.world/
but not to
https://syncydink.buttplug.world/
Using the mac bluetooth not a dongle
What am I doing wrong
I installed windows using boot camp on mac s the same story there…connects to playground but not to syncydink
Gents, posting the same question here due to being a more recent discussion and involving some members with expertise. I appreciate any help you can give. I had a Launch for years and didn’t have issues syncing it to ScriptPlayer. I just got a Keon, installed the newest ScriptPlayer and installed Intiface as layed out in the instructions above. Thanks by the way. I even added the ffmpeg although I was skeptical I really needed it.
I can get the Keon to sync to the player, but when I try to play a video with a funscript, only the vid plays and not the script. The vids & scripts are the exact same files I used on the Launch. The heat map is showing at the bottom so I assume ScriptPlayer is “seeing” the script vs not having a script loaded. I can load by script also, but I get the same result with just the video playing and no Keon movement, despite being synced. I also double checked to make sure the source was the video in the settings just in case. Ialso tried making the “Source” random and executing patterns. Still nothing.
I have had ScriptPlayer shut down on its own when I “connect” to Intiface, but it’ll usually work on the second try. Yes I restarted my computer a few times…
Any thoughts on what I’m missing?
@LOWNLYBOY - how do you know the Keon is synced to the player? Does it show up saying “Keon connected” in Initface app?
If you’re using VR, it will just connect much easier/faster on SLR interactive android app fyi too
@Realcucumber. Fan of your scripts btw, but yes it shows it’s connected to the Keon on Intiface.
I use a PC w/no VR
- Turn on bluetooth
- start Intiface and start server
- turn on Keon (light is flashing blue - pairing mode)
- connect ScriptPlayer; Intiface: “Connected to ScriptPlayer”
- Scan for devices; ScriptPlayer: Connected to Keon; Intiface “Devices: Kiiroo Keon”
- Open file or script: only video and no keon movement at all. (sometimes accompanied by swearing). I’ve tried changing the Input in ScriptPlayer to “Random” in settings to see if Keon will do anuything while a video is playing. Nope. I’ve also tried using the drop down with “Execute Pattern”, but nothing happens. It looks like it’s synced, but nothing I do in ScriptPlayer results in Keon movement.
Potentially of note: sometimes ScriptPlayer never finds the device; it attempts once and then ScriptPlayer closes completely. I’ll do that about 6-10 times before my patience runs out and I try something else. If I connect the Keon to bluetooth in Windows setting first, and then disconnect the Keon from Windows, the probability of ScriptPlayer finding it is increased. I’ve tried leaving it conencted to Windows and then syncing to ScriptPlayer (complete opposite of what Launch required) and get the same result. Once ScriptPlayer syncs, it will reconnect easier afterward as I try different sequence combinations.
Thanks for the love @LOWNLYBOY
Sounds like you have everything proper connected
I would say make sure you have latest Scriptplayer Beta, as well as latest Initface
Also try dragging and dropping the script, or renaming the script simpler - but since heatmap shows up, sounds like script is being recognized
Can u screen shot your Pinned scriptplayer settings on player window? maybe u have settings too low (try hitting default in SP settings to reset your settings too)
You can try downgrading Initface version to older versions too, maybe theres a bug going on
I redownloaded and installer ScriptPlayer 1.1.0.261 instead of 1.1.1.340 and got it to sync and work. Hopefully I can recreate that success here in a little bit. I’ve been really frustrated with it lately.
Thanks again for your input, @Realcumber. I’ve been wanting to learn to script; everything I’ve tried turned out like crap. Maybe next time I’ll have a better/scripting question for you…
