How to loop the video on MultiFunPlayer

I don’t use MFP myself but there are posts about looping. Seems to depend on the video player used though.

I found mpv as a videoplayer pretty good at looping small clips seamlessly. OFS uses mpv and I’d say it loops pretty seamlessly. There are plenty of script players for the OSR2 which can use mpv but I’m not sure about the looping capabilities of the individual players. MultiFunPlayer allows you to pass arguments to mpv. [Capture] If you add “–loop-file=inf” you get pretty good results.

I’m assuming you are using mpv as video player and you must be missing the default arguments set in MFP because it should not close. The default arguments are --keep-open --pause.

You can also check “gap fill” to make the motion provider work during script sections without action.

I use MPC player and theres an option in that player to repeat the video forever.

Separate question. Whats the best way to randomize a playlist of scripts, using multifunplayer?

I just remembered a new question, does this player not have a function similar to playing a menu? After each viewing, I can only drag another video and its corresponding script file to replace it.

In mpv you can drag drop multiple files or a whole folder and it will show a simple UI for the playlist.
If you need more user friendly playlists the you should use some other player like VLC or PotPlayer.

Also you dont have to drag drop scripts to MFP or mpv, they are automatically loaded by MFP.

There is “Internal” media player in MFP where you can drag drop funscripts and play them without video, and it has a random option.
