This is mainly for VR but can be used on 2D scenes as well.
If you want a clean title card for a post without play buttons or watermarks, then the majority of sites can be just obtained by a simple Right Click image> Open in New Tab then save the image.
But if that doesn’t work, then you may want to Right Click > Inspect on that image in a browser. Below are VR studios and GIFs on how I obtain them. If you want to view them full screen, Right-click image > Open in New Tab (see? Practice )

VRBangers
You want to search for the blog article, not the scene page itself.
Since VRBangers enabled protected web content, you must Shift + Right Click to get the menu.
VRConk
Since VRConk (i.e. VRBangers) enabled protected web content, you must Shift + Right Click to get the menu.
I hadn’t thought of searching for .webp in the console, nice (I just browse and inspect the elements on page until I find the covers). And when I cannot find them I scrap the images from XBVR.
lots of people here have their own curated library and organize them with either stash or xbvr. its really quite cool to have basically your own locally hosted pornhub for your scripts.
This basically makes it necessary to scrape from the source, and if that fails this suggestion here teaches how to get pictures manually.
