Identify verification enforcement tag

I’d like to suggest introducing a mandatory tag for content, which is locked behind identify/age verification.
Personally, I will never, ever hand out my government ID or face scan on the internet. I’m sure many others feel the same way.
A designated tag for such content would help hiding it from all feeds.

Not a bad idea. Enforcement might be difficult because one day a website might just decide to do that and thousands of posts could suddenly need the tag but I’m a fan of the idea.

We should discuss implementation.

Wouldn’t a tag be enough for implementation? If users see a site locked behind an age identity check they will be vocal in the comments, and members can add the tag manually if they have perms. I don’t see it as the end of the world if one falls through the cracks temporarily until someone adds the relevant tag.

Having this tag would be useful, although that is presuming that identify/age verification doesn’t become the norm via enough big countries implementing requirements for it. (Which ends up forcing sites to implement the verification)

It would be good though if the Tag has two versions maybe…one which says a VPN can get you around the verification meanwhile the other version is for when you can’t get around it no matter what.

What I meant is what happens when R34 1 year from now starts age gating.
nearly the entire eroscripts site will need the tag and that would be a huge amount of work to update the tags.

Like I said im in favor of the idea, people could even start doing this now. Enforcement might become difficult later because the the R34 scenario.

I would also want to encourage multiple tags like:
#agegate-uk #agegate-global

Yeah, just having a rule to add such tags should be enough. It’s not the end of the world if older posts are missing the tags until someone notices and adds them.

Maybe we should think about uploading encrypted files to cloud providers. It should take a while until pixeldrain or mega require ID verification and encrypted files can’t be detected as adult content by some AI.

We could also tag posts automatically if they contain links to known sites.

This is already not a good idea since yes while they aren’t requiring or talking about verification stuff, they are already crossed out as a permanent solution since if stuff gets reported or (in pixeldrain’s case) isn’t accessed too recently it gets auto deleted.
Mega is the worst for this of where they don’t allow appeals or just delete the file, they instead fully delete your account and everything with it. Sometimes no one has to report your uploads for them to check your files as they just need too many views too fast for it to occur. (Or so it’s been reported in the past)
For pixeldrain they’ve also said that any files that are encrypted upon upload get more scrutiny and thus actually get checked without a report.

Additionally this place is meant to be purely for the funscript side of stuff to avoid us having to deal with DMCA and other stuff so the site hosting the files is also off the table. People can go ahead with uploading the files on various sites and link them here but making it the recommended or a mandated action I feel is not the move. (Torrent stuff is also off the table because of the rules)

I agree with tagging threads automatically when a site implements verification but only for the first post of the thread have the link however this could fail I believe if the posts contain the max amount of tags.
