Insertion devices noob question

I am super new to this hobby of toys and connectivity with computers, what caught my attention the most were the funscripts and remote control, but from what I researched, most funscripts are made for onaholes like the Handy. I would like to know if these scripts are universal and work well with passive toys, such as vibrators, butt plugs, and so on. Apart from that, I haven’t found good programs for remote control. I would like something that works only with the butt plug io because I don’t like the interface of xToys and don’t want to depend on the private options of the brands. Already very grateful if someone can take the time to answer me

Most funscripts are for linear stroker devices like The Handy. Some folks here do post .vibe.funscripts which are tuned for vibrating toys. Some media players take the funscripts for stroker toys and what they’ll do is invert the stroke and map it to power in some form. i.e. so when a stroker is supposed to be all the way down the shaft, the power of the vibrating toy will be higher. (shameless plug incoming) Or at least that’s how I did it with my funscript player BuzzyBody. I mapped mine directly, but I’ve heard that some media players do it a bit smoother and average the power out over time for less drastic changes. An option I’ll get around to adding.

Hello, actually, it’s a bit embarrassing to respond to this since I intend to use BuzzyBody but I am still waiting to receive my toy. Thank you for the responses; I’m glad that the software at least has some adaptation, even if it’s subtle.
