Is anyone planning to buy the Vision Pro? I live in Japan, so I can’t buy it. I would really like to hear the opinions of those who have bought it.

Interesting device, cool stuff in it. But with the price of 3.5k it’s too expensive. I’ll wait for other devices to come this year.

I have anybody seen anything to indicate it will work well for the purpose of watching VR/AR porn.

I think it probably will. Apple has mentioned 180 degree “Apple Immersive Video” in several of their press releases so that’s promising. And Safari on VisionOS supports WebXR, which bodes well for the SLR site and other web-based players.

I think so too. I hope HereShpere and Skybox make apps available.

The new interface without physical controllers might prove to become an issue for compatibility with existing apps since there is no natural way of mapping controller keys. The Vision Pro will work like Microsoft HoloLens i.e., eye tracking and hand/finger gestures.

Picked up the Quest 3 instead, never really considered the Vision Pro at the price point

Definitely would if it could run OSX
