Kiiroo's Brand New Sex Toy Release Pre-Order - the Keon 2! (Early Bird discount extended for the remaining first 500 units!)

I am aware of two accessories that click into the back of the keon. One is the above mentioned table clamp ( Keon Table Clamp | Hands-Free Mount for Keon 1 or 2 | Kiiroo – Kiiroo® ), the other is the neck strap ( Keon Neck Strap – Kiiroo® ).

Both have this mounting block that clips into the back of the Keon. The neck-strap one has some loops in the back to insert the actual neck strap, the table clamp one has a ball joint mounted to it. I am not sure but I’d suspect that the ball joint is screwed into the mounting block.

If indeed the ball joint is screwed into the mounting block it should be fairly easy to replace the ball joint with a small CNC’d thing that houses a 1/4" thread.

My homemade version of this is printed in two independent parts where the geometry locks them into the back of the keon. I did not manage to make it springloaded. In the attached photos you can see it mounted as well as the individual parts. In the bottom of the images is the end of a manfrotto 244n arm with a 143bkt camera bracket. My printed adapter has a cylinder that locks into the bracket, ensuring that the keon does not rotate in the 1/4" thread.

Oh wait, I see what you are asking about now.

Compare these two images:

and

The shape of the two knobs is different, the clamps around the ball joints are shaped differently, the ball joints seem to be colored black now. That was what I was referring to about the apparent two variants of the table clamp.

Yes I was more-so asking about the 2 different versions of the table mounts (your 3D printed mount solution looks like a great home made alternative solution though)

There does indeed look to be slight differences in those 2 images, possibly just a minor cosmetic update (I only have the one from the first image)

As far as I last saw, late July was when the early bird orders would ship. As we are now getting closer, do we have a better timeframe beyond estimated?

Yes I’ve still heard the same (late July/early Aug) for early birds

I think Kiiroo is still waiting a bit for their July Independence sale to wrap up these last few days before focusing on finalizing closer release date of Keon 2

I’ve reached out to see if any news just in case and will report back if I get a firmer date for you guys

Here’s the reply I received direct from Kiiroo

“Just checked in with the product team, and they’ll be sending out an email update to all Keon 2 pre-order customers soon with the latest information. Currently, the timeline in the confirmation is still valid.”

I know its not much more specific but I think its good to know they are still on schedule

Received a mail from Kiiro:

You’re in our first batch, and based on the updated schedule, that puts you first in line for late August.

Quick note on the timing: component shortages have hit the electronics industry hard this year, and Keon 2 got caught in it too. We’re sorry for the extra wait, especially since you signed up expecting it sooner. We could have used substitute parts to hit the original date. We decided against it. Keon 2 needed to be built the way it was designed, not the way that was fastest.

TL;DR: late August

If the information is true and there really are only 500 units on sale, I get the impression that they aren’t selling as well as expected and that they’re waiting to sell enough to start production, which could explain the delay..

@gjacule - I received the same similar notification

It’s very possible they may be waiting for more sales but I’m also not sure how accurate that ‘available to pre-order’ number is though because I’ve seen it go down but also up then back down again over past few weeks

I cant see any more mention of 500 units on their site anymore so its possible that maybe they opened up more units for their early bird sale while waiting for those components

I backed this as one of the very first early birds. It’s now August 2rd and still nothing. Time they started shipping — a promise is a promise.

Yeah, I just want communication. Of any kind, at this point.

I know its not more specific but here is some communication today Kiiroo posted which seems to indicate they are getting close

Is the universal adapter included with the keon 2 or does it need to be a separate purchase, the pictures you included state that it isn’t but the kiiroo website saids that it is, unless it was recently updated.

If you purchase the Keon 2 without the stroker then it comes with the universal adapter (as it likely assumes you have a stroker or already want to use it with other strokers)

You should be able to see that the picture description changes when you click on the ‘Stroker not included’ button, and not listed when you click on the ‘Stroker included’ button

Ah okay thanks for clarification

Thanks for taking the time to reply again!

It looks like I had gotten a recent email basically stating that production has begun and that hopefully end of August is teh goal. Email was similar to what’s posted in the update/news thing you showed.

It’s also basically saying that they’ve gotten caught up in the components shortages that have been going on.

Happy to help!

That’s a very reassuring email and thats great overall news that they seem to have the ball rolling for final release, at least for the very first preorder batches

I’ll keep posting if I get any more news updates for you guys

Do you know if the Keon 2 will be supported with DeoVR & SexLikeReal straight out of the box? I am contemplating to pre-order it now to receive it hopefully sometime in October, as it seems I already missed the late-August window.
