Local player

Hello everyone.
I’m new to this site, which I recently discovered while searching for information on the Handy 2.
I’ve been spending hours browsing it because I’m discovering so much, like how you can create your own scripts.
I’m progressing step by step.
At first (3 or 4 years ago), I only used my first Handy manually, with the buttons. Then I started using the Handyfeeling website to read scripts, or on FapTap when I discovered the interactive side.

I wanted to ask a question: is there a completely independent local player that would only work on the PC without requiring anything else?
On Tuesday, there was a problem on the Handyfeeling server, which went down, making it impossible to use my Handy!
I found here that many people were using Funscript IO, ScriptPlayer, or MultiFunPlayer. With all Tuesday evening ahead of me (alone at home), I tried these three solutions, thinking I’d be able to enjoy my Handy, to no avail.
I think all three must be linked to the Handyfeeling servers because none of them connect to the Handy. So I’m wondering if the Handy doesn’t go through the Handyfeeling servers to then connect to the software.

So, too bad, evening ruined, but I was actually wondering if there wasn’t a local player that wouldn’t need anything, just connect to the Handy via Wi-Fi without going anywhere else.

Because I’m thinking, in the end, that my Handy is 100% dependent on Handyfeeling. If the server is down, it’s impossible to use it. So if one day (but it will never happen) Handy were to shut down its servers, I could actually throw away my device?
Sorry if I’m wrong, please feel free to correct me. I’ve been using Handy for a very long time (I’m on my third), but I only discovered in the last few weeks how much I can do with it.

In fact, I’m now going to focus on creating scripts :blush: :blush: :blush:

scriptplayer for sure will work, the others probably too but i havent played with those
but you need to get Intiface Central and connect your handy through bluetooth to intiface, and connect your player to intiface instead of online

There are 2 main methods of connection for the handy, bluetooth and wifi
Each have pros and cons
(Off the top of my head, can search yourself)
It is like the completeness of the script vs responsiveness

Personally atm, i am using the following which has been perfect (bluetooth)
Syncopathy
The only thing i would say might be a flaw is there is a bit of learning to do and playlist take a bit to setup, but i want the responsiveness of my handy (pause to pause handy immediately instead of risking the command not sending) and have really enjoyed the player so far

tl;dr use Intiface
Intiface can connect to (mostly) every device, (mostly) every app can connect to Intiface

Thank you for taking the time to reply.

But I’m still stuck:

  • Syncopathy, I see that it only works with FW 4, and with everything I’ve read here, I prefer not to even try; I’m sticking with FW 3.
  • Intiface, unfortunately, is not compatible with Windows 7/8!!

The problem remains…
