Hi, I keep having the problem where some videos play and others do not play; I think it’s due to codec’s but I’m not sure. I have installed K-lite codec pack
What video player or platform are you on?
Assuming you are on windows, you can use the included Media Player Classic Home Cinema (MPC-HC) (I also use this) if you installed the Standard and above package for K-Lite, or you can also use VLC
I’m using the local video player for script player; could not figure out how to get MPCHC or VCL to work
HPCHC says its connected on scrip player but nothing plays
This started happening to me too, after upgrading to Win 11. AV1 encoded videos will no longer play with the Local video player.
I’m using the same workaround with VLC/MPC-HC as a player.
Since your Script Player says it’s connected it should work. You do need to start the video in MPC-HC though, not in Script Player.
Thank you, I did not know that.
