I just want to start off by saying that this may be a stupid idea. I have absolutely zero clue what the physics look like or what kind of forces are at play with multi-axis devices, BUT here is the idea.
It can be a pain to get the Fleshlght on/off of the OSR2 without making a mess. What if the receiver was a half circle and had strong magnets to hold the case in place (also with strong magnets on it)?
How many magnets? How strong? What are they secured with/by? Is this even possible? I have no fucking clue, but I figure it can’t hurt to throw the idea out there.
The main concern with this would be safety. Magnets resist being pulled apart in one direction but slide around in others. Its why if you have two really strong magnets its hard to pull them apart but its easier to slide them apart.
So if it was one axis and the magnets were oriented in the direction of the movement, it would be fine since it would hold while moving parallel to the magnets, but once its moving perpendicular, the magnets are liable to pull apart if there’s resistance from it being on your member. The nightmare would be the case coming off and the arms/receiver slamming down on something.
The magnets themselves would have to be small enough to be able to be slotted into the receiver and case, and the combined magnetic force would have to be strong enough to hold up the case and sleeve on top of resisting movement perpendicular to the magnetic forces holding the magnets together.
Also if the magnets were strong enough to hold everything in place so it was safe, it would probably be strong enough to interfere with the metal arms.
Note: I am not a scientist or a professional. I just know enough about magnets and can analyze the practicality of the idea based off what I know. If someone has more information about magnets, I’d trust them over me.
Edit: Realistically if someone were to design something thats makes it easier to take the case out it would have to lock in with a latch or button and that can then be disengaged. You want the fleshlight case locked in for safety reasons cause youre dealing with one of the most sensitive bits on your body. The magnets don’t LOCK anything it, it just holds it in place.
It wouldn’t work with Twist either, as that requires specific mounting.
Twist asside. It would probably be easier to have a seperate Mount just for the felshlight case, that then clips onto the receiver, allowing for removal of the fleshlight including it’s mount, without having to remove your meat stick.
That would require redisigning of the receiver, as well as designing a mounting mechanism for the fleshlight case.
But I agree, removing the meat stick can be quite messy. Especially when a lot of lube is used.
Kiiro Keon allows to slide the Sleeve out of the bottom instead of the top, preventing that mess entirely. Wondering if something like that would be possible with the OSR/SR6?
