Mandatory tags on script requests

Would it be possible to add required tags on script requests much like we have on script releases?

I find it tiresome to browse script requests. Many add tags but they are pretty inconsistent. I would like to see mandatory filters to separate requests into a couple of major groups to make it easier to remove large portions that aren’t relevant for you and make browsing easier/faster. Without consistent tags this is a challenge today.

  • real or animated
  • vr or non-vr/flat
  • music/beat based or action based

Optionally: single axis, multi axis, vibrator and e-stim

I agree but the issue is the backlog of topics that are missing tags someone would still need to add tags to those topics.

I’m good if we just do the change. No need to review older posts (most are closed after a couple of months anyway). I don’t think that requests older than a year are looked at much anyway. I’m happy if we just take a step in the right direction and do something that we will see full effect of over time.

This can be done. I’ll set that up before end of today

Perfect, thanks!

Required tags implemented.

Can you add “single-axis → stroke” to the options?
I’ve seen a request for a full VR movie that have multi-axis selected and I think it’s because stroke is a bit anonymous.

I added single-axis as well as the rest of the missing Axis

Isn’t stroke and single-axis the same thing? At least that was my assumption when I suggested adding “single-axis → stroke” just like we have “doggystyle → doggy” (and probably others). I wanted to avoid multiple tags for the same thing.

I guess they’re almost always the same but I presume there’s a healthy number of single-axis non-stroke type scripts like vib scripts
