When we first released MiraBot, two questions came up the most from OSR users:

  1. Does MiraPlay AiO support VR video playback with Funscript sync?
  2. Can non-MiraBot OSR devices connect to MiraPlay AiO?

I’m excited to say: Yes – both are now working, and we’re in the final testing stage! :rocket:

:movie_camera: 1. VR Video + Funscript Sync

We’ve expanded the in-app video + Funscript player with VR playback support:

  • 180° / 360° VR
  • Side-by-side 3D
  • 2D → 3D conversion

No PC + VR headset streaming required – just use your smartphone + a simple cardboard VR box for smooth VR playback synced with your device.
This really boosts the playability of MiraPlay AiO.

:handshake: 2. OSR Compatibility

We’ve also built an online firmware flasher tool so OSR users can join in.

  • Open the website on your PC
  • Connect your OSR device
  • Follow the instructions to flash the MiraPlay firmware

After that, your OSR can connect to MiraPlay AiO and MiraPlay Web.
You’ll get access to:

  • Funscript player
  • Phone motion control
  • Built-in browser & custom actions
  • Remote play (note: may have higher latency outside Japan)

This means you can enjoy OSR without always relying on a PC.

When will this be released?
The firmware flasher and new MiraPlay AiO (with VR support) are planned for Beta release at the end of this month. Everyone’s welcome to try it out.

Is MiraPlay AiO free?
During the Beta phase, all features will be free.
After Beta, the firmware + basic features of MiraPlay AiO will remain free.
Some advanced features will be exclusive to MiraBot users.

How can I buy MiraBot?

  • Japan: You can order directly from our Japanese site → mirabotx.co.jp
  • Outside Japan: We’re preparing an English store for international users, planned for mid-October. I’ll make a post once it goes live.

I think the VR player sounds really cool，
but I’m a bit worried there won’t be many multi-axis scripts available for VR videos…

Good point , we’re aware that multi-axis scripts for VR videos are still quite limited.
We’re already working on this and will keep improving the situation.

During the Beta period, we also plan to release some free VR resources and scripts ourselves, so users can try out the new player right away. More will follow over time – please look forward to it!
