The previous supplier made silent changes to the motors that I wasn’t happy with, so I’ve upgraded the driver motors to 9iMod 35KG Coreless HV. They’re much smoother, impressively quiet (seriously!), and cost about £12 more each. While the total BOM has increased by around £27, I’m keeping the set price unchanged for now.
All motors are now secured with M3 washers for added stability.
The Velcro One-Wrap strap has been upgraded from 30mm to 40mm width and changed from black to grey fitting the PETG colour.
I wanted to share my experience getting an OSR2+ from Vespera. This was my first time buying from a seller on EroScripts, and I honestly feel lucky to have chosen him. From the very beginning, he was friendly, responsive, and patient; and that continued well beyond the point of sale.
One of the things that made the whole experience special was how customizable the build was. I had no experience with 3D design or printing, but I sent him a simple inspiration image and he brought it to life in a way that felt truly personal. He made something that fits me, even though I didn’t quite know what I wanted at first.
The OSR2+ itself is beautifully made. The print is clean, the wiring is neatly enclosed, ports are thoughtfully placed, and the desk mount is solid. It’s full of little thoughtful touches that make it feel more like a piece of craftsmanship than just hardware. It’s not just functional; it’s something you can admire on your desk.
What really stood out is Vespera’s dedication to constantly improving his work. He’s not just building and shipping devices; he’s evolving them. Even though his current design already feels close to the “endgame,” he continues to refine and upgrade. My unit came with the previous-generation servos, and it’s already quieter than I expected. Knowing that his newer units are even better really says something about how far he’s pushed the design.
When I had a minor issue (one loose screw on arrival), he helped me fix it quickly and clearly. It was simple, but the fact that he took the time to walk me through it shows how much he stands behind his work.
I’m genuinely grateful I found Vespera. Not only do I now have a beautifully built OSR2+ that works flawlessly and feels uniquely mine, but I also had the kind of experience that reminds you there are many passionate, talented people in this community who truly care about what they do.
I would absolutely recommend him to anyone considering a purchase, and I’m thankful to have connected with someone who represents the best of what this forum has to offer.
Oh damn… I don’t know what to say That endorsement is something else! Thank you refraincow for taking the time to write such a review – It’s my honour. Thank you
I recently purchased an OSR2+ from Vespera and thought I’d leave a quick comment about my positive experience!
I was really impressed with how responsive they were throughout the whole process. Whenever I had any questions they always got back to me incredibly quickly, and construction and delivery was prompt. When I reached out for help with small technical issue I had, Vespera explained exactly what my issue was and walked me through the solution immediately, so really pleased with the level of professionalism that was shown and you can have confidence that they’ll assist you with whatever questions you have.
There were a lot of options for customisation, which wasn’t something that initially interested me - but Vespera made some suggestions and my build looks great, really happy with how it turned out.
The build itself is high quality, a huge upgrade from my previous device. I really like the twist module which came as standard, and it’s great with the various multi-axis scripts available on the forum.
Overall I am extremely pleased with the service that I received from Vespera, and can highly recommend their OSR2!
I also just got my first OSR2+ from Vespera. I went with him cause i got the impression that hes passionate about what hes doing und reliable. I did not get dissapointed.
He kept me updated trough the whole process, even when unexpected delays happend. I left the whole design to him since im not a very creative person and i think the finished product came out very well. The device came with a detailed description how to handle it correctly, but all in all it was plug and play as promised.
After the delivery Vespera kept answering any questions that came up asap. He even sent me picture guide how to disassemble the device partly to get to a screw that was loose.
If you are looking to buy an OSR2+ i can fully recommend Verspera.
Was thinking to make the jump into the world of multi-axis for some time, and seeing Vespera’s beautiful and detailed presentation made me make the jump.
The communication throughout the whole building and shipping process was constant and detailed, and he helped me set up everything correctly afterwards.
The OSR2+ arrived packaged carefully and securely, with parts to spare.
The device itself is beautiful and assembled very carefully. Went through every bolt with hexkeys myself and everything is tightened perfectly. Took a second look after a few intense sessions and it holds just as tight. The servo choices also handle even the most ultra intense scripts out there with grace.
The OSR2+ built and shipped by @Vespera is a 10/10 recommendation from me.
Thank you for the shoutouts - I have multi axis scripts opened in OFS in the background as I write this - learning all the limits and intricacies of controlling the device. Looking forward to implementing multi-axis support into my experiences.
Thanks again for the wonderful device!
Thank you@Eternal_Enigma & @SudoX. I really appreciate the reviews and the time you’ve both taken to promote, endorse my page and speak of your experience. As always, but truly, it was my honour and I’ll always be of technical support forever whenever you need so. Thank you both very much
The Metal Carbon Rod Arm has been lengthened to perfectly fit and hide the M4 rosejoint thread.
The Pitch and Twist Motor have been upgraded to the HV Coreless motors. The Twist is now significantly quieter and smoother! Very happy with this motor and will be sticking with these drivers for the foreseeable future irrespective of the higher costs.
The Twist Lid has been optimised so it sits flush and securely due to the larger motor.
2 new caseless adapters have been introduced to further cater to special Onaholes and sleeves.
An optional 1nch OLED display on the front plate is now available.
I have heavily worked on improving and modifying the SR6 and now have a completely updated iteration, similar to my OSR2.
I don’t normally write reviews, but in this case I’m making an exception. If you’re still unsure whether this is the right purchase, rest assured it is. Initially, I was very sceptical about investing this amount of money without knowing what I would get. Compared to the Handy, two months after receiving the OSR2+, I am of the opinion that it’s definitely better at everything.
Most importantly, I would like to emphasise that @Vespera is an excellent seller. He will talk you through every step of the purchase and keep you updated regularly. I experienced some minor issues afterwards (the arm wasn’t moving due to a loose screw, and the twist function wasn’t working due to a switch), but Vespera was very quick to respond and provide greart assistance. His customer service deserves an A+. I hope this helps if you are still unsure about buying it.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review and lend credibility to the thread — I genuinely appreciate it
Since the Brushless Motor iteration, I’ve made several refinements; some which directly address the small issues you mentioned:
The arm screw issue has been fully resolved thanks to an upgraded servo horn and the application of medium threadlocker. Sealey low-strength threadlocker actually sucks. These motors are rarely (if ever) user-replaced, so ensuring everything stays secure over time has been revised.
The Twist function just needed the extension wire connected — a super quick fix that we were able to identify and resolve immediately.
Your feedback helped push things forward, and I’m really glad your overall experience was a positive one. Thanks again for your thoughtful words and for helping others feel more confident in their decision.
Was toying (pun intended) with idea of backing a handy 2 pre-order when an OSR2 caught my eye and after looking up some reviews and not wanting to wait 6 months I figured why not!
Even with the “overdrive” 800mm/s pro model Handy2, an OSR2 is already faster at 1000mm/s (its absurdly fast, it might even be too fast!), it will take more weight, has more range of motion, has whole extra axis to use, comes hand free out the box, still uses a plug so it wont run out at exactly the wrong time etc. And it will do all this for less money…?!
But you can buy one of these from anyone, why would you want to buy one from Vespera?
Firstly customer support: Vespera is top notch, I’m getting replies within an matter of hours to any sort of mundane questions. I’ve been kept very much in the loop with the build as it progresses.
Customisation: You can completely customise the looks and its got many improved design features over other OSR2s, one main complaint google suggests is that they’re so loud that you need noise cancelling headphones, I can confirm that not only is Vespera’s OSR2 equipped with more powerful servos but that they’re actually quieter than a handy.
Quality: Short of this being in a retail box with artwork, branding and a custom foam insert you’d be hard push to tell this wasn’t a commercial product.
So get off the fence and order yours now, you wont regret it.
That review is like I’ve paid you to write it, can’t ask for a better advertisement ; thank you so much! When people decide to purchase from me they have my full commitment and it allows me to continue this hobby and have fun with 3D printing – I welcome anyone with elaborate ideas for a unit or if you want something simple I am always trying to improve the base iteration! Again @Helin0x I really appreciate such an endorsement and I’ll forever be of support as soon as I can! Thank you – I will have some exclusive scripts for all my customers in the near future, check your DMs!
I don’t usually post reviews – but this is my first and am glad to be doing it to support Vespera.
The images and prior comments gave me the confidence to support Vespera and get my hands onto my first OSR device. Having received my OSR2+, I am extremely pleased with the quality and build. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting such a polished product for DIY! As others have suggested, this could pass as a retail product.
I am really grateful to Vespera also answering my questions very promptly and supportively. My experience was limited to the Handy, and literally feels like the OSR has opened up a whole new world for me. Both onaholes and fleshlights feel superb with the OSR - this thing is a game changer!
The OSR is indeed equipped with high-quality parts, and am amazed by the relative quietness of this thing compared to my Handy. You can tell Vespera has put a lot of thought and love into producing this superb piece of kit!
Comms, service, delivery, product – everything top notch! Looking forward to Vespera’s future products and development – I expect more good things to come!
I’m not usually one to review products, but I have to say something.
I’ve never had this good of an interaction with any other seller in my life honestly. Prompt replies, updates on the order during its production and just generally a joy to interact with.
I live a good distance away, yet this package arrived faster than some stuff I’ve ordered in my own country
Just for a little context, I’ve used a plain OSR2 for about a year (bought from a different seller), and loved it honestly, I just wanted the upgrade. I was looking through a couple different creators, before choosing Vespera. Seeing the pictures of other creations and the details of the specific enhancements done, really gave me solid confidence that this was the one I wanted.
After receiving it, I was kind of shocked at the quality, it blew my other OSR2 out of the water. It’s way smoother, has a logo I like on it, and is just solid feeling! Also, the instruction sheet included is very well written!
First use, I couldn’t help but notice how much quieter it is than my other OSR2, which I had upgraded to some cheaper 30kg servos. The way it moves is just better, it’s hard to put my finger on it, but maybe this is the difference a quality servo makes?
Overall, 10/10 great experience. I will definitely be buying more stuff from Vespera, THANK YOU so much, seriously. Your passion and care shines through in your creations and it’s a rare thing these days.
Thank you@Solivagrant@WhyNot2024 Thank you guys so much! It was my honour to craft your units & I really thankful for your trust in me to create your Multi-Axis units! I hope I delivered! Your reviews are honestly amazing & thoroughly appreciated and as always I’ll always be of technical service. Thank YOU guys!
Release of the new custom OLED OSR2 edition / custom software for customisability coming soon
Release of the completely modified SR6 featuring several in-house and third party modifications & improvements (4010 blower fan/ heatsinks/ OLED display and many more)
The medium caseless adapters notches have been enlarged so it better fits without unscrewing itself
Rubber washers are used on the arms instead of metal to avoid potential grinding over time.
Bolts are now secured with Loctite medium strength threadlocker instead of Sealeys low strength threadlocker
When will you be in stock again? Looking to purchase an sr6, and your design stands out from the other versions of the toy. Really excited and interested in purchasing from you.
I purchased a OSR2+ twist receiver from Vespera as the original OSR2+ seller I purchased from did not sell twist addons. I chose him after browsing through the many available sellers on this site as his look the cleanest, especially with how well his sample pictures are taken! Choosing sellers properly I think is important given the horror stories I’ve seen about horrible print jobs.
Upon receiving this, I did have some compatability issues as my OSR2+ used M3 screws whereas the receiver used M4. However, Vespera was extremely quick to respond and offered many suggestions on workarounds. I eventually settled on using a nut at one end to lock the M3 screws in place, which worked perfectly. The print job of the receiver was very clean and everything works perfectly. The servo that came with it was also surprisingly quiet even though twist did add a bit of noise overall. Shipping was quick and I received it in under a week.
Happy to have went with Vespera and would recommend him to others!
