My handy 2 doesn't seem to be able to reach the advertised speed

Hi, I’ve had my handy 2 for month now and while I’m very happy with it (outside of the silicone skin slowly getting loose around the screen and the moving part) I’ve had problems with scripts going over 600 cuz they’re apparently too fast for MY Handy 2… (even tho this is its actual speed limit)
For example: on the picture, instead of going to 0, it will prioritize the top points and make a shorter stroke

I’ve tested multiple script players but the actual speed limit of my Handy 2 seems to be around 540, is that right? or is mine a little slower?

The standard Handy 2 has the same speed as Handy 1. For faster speeds, you’d need a 2 Pro which with overclocking can go twice as fast.

Also heard from other users with a standard Handy 2, that having it plugged in to power during use helps with that.
Apparently using it on battery only caps the speeds a bit or something along those lines, so maybe try that and see if you notice a difference

thanks for the tip, I’ll try that!

The Handy 2’s speed is affected by power source - battery operation may limit performance compared to being plugged in. HaptiQ drives the Handy in percentage ranges (0-100%) which the device maps to its physical capabilities.

Also advise not to test said limit. High percentage of units get failures and non operational units.
