Hello I am Midevil I’ve been on here for a couple years now since the pandemic years. I made a patreon sometime after joining to help me with having some extra money for groceries, WHICH HELPED ALOT! I wasnt the first to make a patreon for their content nor was I the “most popular” but I was content with the support I was getting. I’ve had some post flagged by patreon in the past which usually meant I had to just delete the post or absolutely strip it of any info so that the algorithm would deem it safe to post (ON A NSWF PATREON). I then woke to an email just saying “we deleted your account cause you shared stuff that wasnt you own”.
This made no sense, all I could think was the video links I post. Even then the video links I post are to publicly released video content which was never a problem for the past 2 years. I appealed and even went into the workflow for making funscripts which is what the patreon was for. All they said was “nope sorry”.
The reason why I’m writing this is well to vent a bit but also to act as a warning to other patreon creators big and small. I wasnt considered a big patreon creator on here and they still decided my account was suddenly unfit for the platform overnight. If this can happen to me, it can happen to you without warning, escpecially those with larger patreons. I say if you have your patreons up, only share the actual funscript files or just make the full jump to discord and share them there, (i wish i did that sooner). Honeestly if another platform arrises that is much for friendly to NSFW content, I would say jump ship to that platform. Patreon seems to be tuning extremely hostile to NSFW creations.
If you were a patreon im sorry, if you were looking at my post all to go to a deactivated account im sorry. I’ll figure something out for those posts so they are not dead yet, little busy rn with irl responsibilites
P.S. Also if you a creator dont link your membership and creator account to the same email for connivences cause they will both be nuked at the same time and you cant get your membership account back
