My Regular Handy 2 impressions and questions

Hey Guys,

I went from handy 1 with a pro band and just got my handy 2 and just wanted to share my experience since I didn’t see anyone talk about the regular handy 2 at all.

Setup:
First off, the onboarding handy app didn’t really update its instructions for handy 2 for connecting bluetooth. I followed the instructions for holding the action button for a while to wait for a purple color and it just stayed a green color. Had to look online to find out you had to press up+action button in order to get it alternating 2 color which allowed for bluetooth connection. Once I was connect I was familiar with the connection process and it talked to scriptplayer seamlessly.

I got the long sleeve and extender click ons (IMO these add ons and bands should be a discounted bundle) for my onas and they worked great. My old pro band for the handy 1 still worked for the long sleeve thing. I didn’t expect the long sleeve holder to be 2 plastic round frames that used the band to sandwich the ona in between, seems like it would be hard to use with non round onas.

Usage:
The (new?) feature where you can set the lowest point the handy can go as well as the highest point was great. My ona had a big part sticking out up front and it never rubbed against the handy 2 and with the lowest point adjustment I didn’t need to lift up the handy 2 either. The handy 2 was a indeed a lot quieter, and it had enough power to keep my ona up without sliding down slowly from the weight.

How do you guys keep the handy 2 itself stable, now that its normally held on the side? With the handy 1, I could put it on my stomach and keep it stable with 1 hand but with the handy 2 i needed two hands to comfortably keep it from moving around. The handy2 on my hips/thighs didn’t feel very stable at all. When I try to adjust the device sideways the click ons very easily popped off. I did not feel comfortable with the attachments to try scripts with faster speeds, which is mostly fine for me since I prefer slower scripts in general.

Overall first impressions happy with my purchase, glad it was usable even while charging.

That’s a feature on the Handy 1 too, but I imagine having the LED display on the Handy 2 makes it less of a guessing game xD
