Thank you for your quick response.
I will consider purchasing it.
Ok, thank you. You can join us discord at the store.
Each requires an inline heat fused nut for the location of the joint. We have tested this and will be releasing it soon. It will completely solve the problem of regular screws coming loose when the unit is running for long periods of time.
Sorry for the wait. The OSR2+ and SR6 hot melt nut mount is now complete! We made some minor changes to make it fit better with the plastic.
Iâve recently bought the SR6 premade with the quiet servos other bits and bobs and a vesa fan bracket and thought iâd share my experience if anyones interested?
Purchased on 20th October with fast shipping, it was an item in stock so should have been sent out the same day i believe but there was no tracking update until the 25th.
Iâd emailed for updates numerous times and was told on the :
- 21st âit can be shipped todayâ
- 22nd âit will be shipped todayâ
- 23rd âitâs been sent but tracking number not updated yetâ
- 24th no reply to being asked if theyâre able to give me the tracking number directly rather then waiting for the website to update
- 25th âWe have sent the package. The logistics company probably hasnât entered the tracking number into the system yet. I think I can track the progress of the package tomorrow. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused youâ
- 25th later in the day tracking was updated that the label was printed and hours later the courier has the parcel, finally on itâs way!
- 28th arrived!
Now that sounds like a bad start considering iâd paid for fast shipping and it had taken 5 days just to leave the supplier however it was with me 3 days later so not too bad.
The device arrived well packaged and working, power supply included but as stated on their site i needed to find a plug which i already had. Fired it up and it seemed not to be very smooth, so i flashed it with Khrullâs TCode ESP32 v0.371b and it appeared to be smoother. The top 2 middle arms look to be homed at different degrees which iâll get round to adjusting by taking the horn off and placing back on hopefully in the right place.
Now i was lucky that i didnât have to press any buttons on the ESP when i flashed it as that thing is not easy to get to, on the website it shows a removable plate that the esp is attached to but they no longer make it like that, they also claim they didnât officially start using the hot melt nut mounts at the time of ordering so they were also not included in my device. However, I believe they printed the device after iâd made the order given the delay so the hot melt mounts should have been included? unless theyâre still fine tuning for some reason, itâs not the end of the world.
The fan bracket is very sturdy! though i feel the design needs tweaking a bit as the vesa mount holes are below the thumb nobs so awkward to get to, perhaps they can make the mount slightly wider so the clamps arenât directly over the holes? not a major issue as once attached you probably wonât be detaching it any time soon.
The power supply for the fan is readily available already on the SR6 itself. I ended up putting the fan inside the SR6 case as i wanted it mounted on a monitor arm.
I did this by removing the fan from the fan mount and trimming the corners of the fan case down so the servo brackets could still sit flush (youâll see what i mean if you try this yourself) and drilled some holes for the esp buttons while i was there for easy access in future as the only way to get to it seems to be removing the servo bracket (4 screws, easy to get to) removing the power bus board (very easy just pull it up) and finally removing the 4 screws holding the esp in place, very tedious if flashing often.
Customer service have been for the most part very active via email and once iâd joined their discord very very quick to reply.
They need to be more on the ball and transparent when sending items out, if theyâre only just printing it or thereâs a delay etc say so, they need to update the pictures on their website to reflect whatâs actually being sold or at least put a disclaimer saying there has been modifications to the design.
Would i buy from them again? Yes - the device itself seems very solid, servos powerful, prints are precise. Time will tell how the everything holds together as i like quite fast scripts, if anyone has questions for an end user who is a beginner in all this feel free to ask
Hi, thanks for your positive review and some suggestions.
About shipping: The device does take some time to print and assemble, and we are also trying to minimize the time required for the entire process. From the time the package is completed to the time it is shipped, we try to keep it to 7 days, or even less. Special cases will add 1-2 days.
About the hot melt nut: You are right. The hot melt nut was still being fine-tuned at that time. We are very sorry that we could not get it to work with the new order. We need it to blend perfectly with the plastic before we can send it to the customer. That is what we are striving for.
About the fan bracket: We will continue to adjust it to make it work best.
Thanks again for some of your suggestions and experience.
I want to purchase SR6, when will you have Quite Crafty Handy Servos available again?
I asked the same question regarding the CraftyHandy brushless servo stock in their Discord server on 10/31, and they didnât answer within a day (I went ahead and ordered with the slightly cheaper 9imod coreless servos on 11/1). I donât know why theyâre being weird about not answering this particular question. They answer some questions very quickly.
Sorry for the late reply
Regarding the craftyhandy custom servo, the situation is this. Due to the factoryâs inability to arrange production capacity and order quantity, we are unable to provide custom servos in a short period of time. We are very sorry about this. We have been actively communicating with the factory, but progress is slow. You can choose the 9i servo as an alternative. Their performance is almost the same.
This is a review and feedback on the product and after-sales service.
In my case, the item arrived in about five days.
I purchased a fully assembled product, so there were no missing parts.
The Twist component I ordered alongside it was already attached upon delivery.
However, after using it a few times, it experienced a malfunction.
I reached out to the seller via Discord and exchanged messages several times.
Through this process, the faulty part was identified, and replacement parts were shipped to me.
The replacement parts arrived in just over a week.
With prompt responses about installation and connection methods, I was able to get the product working again successfully.
Thank you for the excellent support.
Suggestions for Improvement:
- While there are various accessories included, there is no explanation about them on the website.
It might be helpful to have a photo list showing whatâs included. - It would also provide peace of mind if accessories (like mounting tools) could be purchased individually in case they are damaged.
(In my case, the package included mounting bands, an L-shaped hex wrench, Twist mounting hardware, and a power supply.
The power supply was especially helpful as it is difficult to source in my region.)
Thatâs all for my review. I hope it proves helpful!
Your suggestions are very constructive, and this is what we intend to do. Thank you for your feedback and suggestions. We will take your suggestions seriously. We are also constantly improving our product and service experience.
EDIT:
Please IGNORE my following statements as they are WRONG and just read the replies below!

It appears as though CraftyHandy is trying to create FOMO artificially by jacking up prices for 13 products (they currently offer 18 in total) while simultaneously putting said products on a âsaleâ for their original price.
Just to name a few examples:
(price until a couple days ago - now increased price - âsaleâ price)
- âCraftyhandy 45KG Brushless digital servoâ:
$ 38 - $ 58 - $ 38 - âDsservo 25KG Digital servoâ:
$ 17,99 - $ 12,99 - $ 17,99 - âESP32 Microcontroller Developedâ:
$ 9,99 - $ 15 - $ 9,99 - âLubricant Delivery Systemâ:
$ 39,99 - $ 49,99 - $ 39,99 - âManMiao USB Automatic Temperature Control Heating Rodâ:
$ 12,99 - $ 20 - $ 12,99
The same scheme applies to the remaining 8 products that are on âsaleâ.
Now, the increased prices are not what bothers me as this doesnât distort reality.
However, artificially jacking up prices and then advertising those products as on âsaleâ for their original price, thats what seems slimy to me.
Because this implies that the products have previously been more expensive and are now offered at a discount - which is NOT the case. They are as expensive as they were before - just labeled as on âsaleâ now.
As somemone from Europe, where such business practices are illegal, I find this highly disappointing. Especially because I was planning to buy an SR6 once the Craftyhandy brushless servos were restocked.
I guess I will be looking elsewhere now as supporting such business practices just doesnât seem right to me.
Just as a note:
I normally never post and just occasionally lurk in the forum to catch up on new free and paid scripts as well as SR6 offers/developments.
However, I thought that people who are in the market for an SR6, similar to me, would appreciate this post.

You can buy Craftyhandy products with confidence!!!
Thanks for your continued interest in our products.
First of all, we are not trying to artificially create FOMO by raising the price of our products.
If you hang out in the forum long enough, you should know that Craftyhandy products are priced low compared to competitors, whether it is material kits or assembled products.
I think you know this very well.
âCraftyhandy 45KG Brushless Digital Servoâ:
$ 38 - $ 58 - $ 38
The promotional price of this custom servo has not changed. So whatâs the problem? Do you want us to restore the original price?
âDsservo 25KG Digital Servoâ:
$17.99 - $12.99 - $17.99
âESP32 Microcontroller Developmentâ:
$9.99 - $15 - $9.99
âLubricant Delivery Systemâ:
$39.99 - $49.99 - $39.99
âManMiao USB Automatic Temperature Control Heating Rodâ:
$12.99 - $20 - $12.99
We are just standardizing the price system of the store. Some accessories have increased by $0.99.
So you are telling me that increasing by $0.99 is raising the price?
These accessories that increase by $0.99 individually do not affect the final price you purchase SR6 and OSR2+.
Secondly, the price you buy is the final selling price. There is no so-called price increase as you mentioned.
You can look elsewhere and compare. You are also welcome to continue to consider our products.
Thanks for your feedback
Alright, I just checked the website and apologize for the statements I made in my previous post. I have also edited it to bring attention to this reply.
This is what happened:
I was browsing via a US VPN yesterday to access some sites that lock out EU citizens. Right after this, I visited your website and noticed those odd price changes where the sale price corresponded to the exact same amount that you would normally see when accessing your site from within the EU.
It appears that, when accessing from outside the EU, or when switching the country on the bottom left of your website (not the currency, that remains USD $), the aforementioned 13 products are listed as on sale. However, when changing to a EU VPN or switching the country on the bottom left, there is no mention of a higher price or a sale.
In short, referencing the Craftyhandy 45KG Brushless digital servo as an example:
âUSâ website: $ 58 $ 38
âEUâ website: $ 38
Now, I donât know why the displayed pre-sale prices and sales would be different as the currency is the same, everything that is region related (shipping for example) is calculated at checkout, and the final sellng price ist the same, but the statements I made in my previous post are definitely wrong.
Again, I apologise for the false statements and will pay more attention to the country I am accessing a website from next time.
This was definitely on me and I should have thought about that.
Alright. We have just discovered the problem you mentioned. The original price information will not be displayed when switching to certain countries and regions. We did not notice this either. Thank you for your discovery.
I can confirm that this is not artificially set.
So, what I want to say is that no one should make any statement that causes reputation and reputation damage to others or the company without a complete investigation and confirmation. I think this is very important.
At the same time, we will not raise the prices of products and accessories at will, their prices are stable.
Thank you for your attention.
