In doing some library management, I came across an old script file and am trying to update it. It is a .txt file, and I’d like to be able to open in OpenFunScripter
I can update the extension to .funscript (calling it v1 to differentiate), and it’ll play in Scriptplayer.
Neither .txt or .funscript will load into OpenFunScripter
With v1 loaded into Scriptplayer, I tried the “Save as” function, which interestingly doubled the file size (calling it v2 to differentiate). When I try to open v2 in OpenFunScripter, the program crashes immediately.
Any help or troubleshooting steps would be appreciated.

The video will play in OFS just fine, and it’ll play fine even if I load in a non-matching script. I don’t believe it’s the video’s issue (I could be wrong).
Does the file you uploaded work in OFS fine? I tried to open it and I get the same result as my v2 file, which just crashes the program.

Interesting. I have the current version of OFS so I’m not sure why it’d open with yours and not with mine. I did notice that yours (in the heatmap) had different max & average speeds. Can you share how you created your file?
Thanks for the clarification, it’s partially why I didn’t mention the video name originally. I’ve removed the files from my OP.
I don’t recall if I got it from SLR because the funscript file originated in 2018…and if I did have an SLR account, I definitely don’t have the credentials anymore. I’ve tried.
I used the default funscript template and inserted the text file in the actions section after reformatting from 670.84:4,671.10:0 to {"at":670.84,"pos":4},{"at":671.10,"pos":0}. I also multiplied the timestamps by 1000 (from ms to s) and the positions by 25, since it looked like the positions in the text file had a range from 0 to 4.
Yeah, it definitely looks like it. It looks to be from back in the early days of RTS and the original Fleshlight Launch. Wow I feel old. That would explain the positioning thing you mentioned. Are there specific guides for how to convert a launch script to handy-compatible?
Could you ELI5 you conversion instructions? It sounded easy, but I immediately got stuff at “inserted the text file in the actions section.”
I opened a random video in OFS, inserted a single point at 0 and exported the script.
Opened the funscript with Notepad, replaced {"at":0,"pos":0} with the converted actions from the old text file.
I’ve tried.
