I cannot get my OSR2 to run with MFP (internal) or Heresphere via MFP and I’m not sure what the issue is, since it worked fine when I ran it month or so ago. I have everything connected and it works fine when I tested it with the trymosa site. It also moves when I adjust the output ranges.
Ok so its connected to MFP itself so that means the device is running if you can adjust output ranges and it moves. The issue is probably from MFP to w/e videoplayer you’re running then. I would check ports in MFP and the player to make sure theyre talking to each other. Other than that Idk.
I’m thinking that is not the problem - when I connect it to Heresphere and change the time in the video it matches the time on MFP… if that makes sense.
Figured it out, not exactly sure how though. Changed the bypass settings on the L0 axis and it works now. Wish I had figured this out last time I tried…
One of the dots is red though and it “Link Access: Overide” when I hover over it. Does anyone know if that is an issue that needs to be addressed?
It means that you have script link enabled with priority. So the script from the target link axis (that you have set) will have priority over automatically loaded scripts. You should not have it enabled on L0.
Most common use case is to link R2 to L0 and enable random motion provider on R2 with some blend between script and motion provider. This way pitch will copy the stroke motion while adding some randomness, simulating grinding motion. Could also adjust the script offset slightly.
