I’ve been banned by Patreon again — this time without any warning or notification. They just outright suspended my account. I had already been careful not to upload any explicit images or GIFs, but apparently, the reason for the ban was that I didn’t enable the adult content setting. It’s honestly frustrating and makes no sense. So, I’ve decided to leave Patreon for good.

Honestly, Patreon is one of the least funscript/porn friendly sites, and I personally think that’s okay. A lot of people here just haven’t found the best method yet. That being said, the ones who do make it work mark it as adult content instantly and use external filehosts.
It’s very possible that Patreon uses webcrawlers to find your username on other websites and then instantly bans them too. The CEO of Patreon is actually a very creative and wholesome guy. He doesn’t want that on his platform.
The Patreon CEO’s name is Jack Conte. I suggest you look him up and make your own choice.
Problem for me is, that I don´t have a credit card, don´t need/want one and this new option only supports credit cards. So in this case I´m out, sorry…

you can try other platforms like pixiv fanbox or subscribestar, you might have more luck there.
If you’re able to get an account running, subscribestar would be the best one for adult content imo

It´s more the convenience of paypal. Credit cards are not that big in some countries, which is why I would only need them for stuff like this.

I didn’t notice the differences in payment methods across platforms — that was my oversight . By the way, when I re-registered on Patreon this time, I found that enabling adult content now requires extra identity verification, including ID and facial recognition. I don’t remember this being necessary before. Anyway, I’ll make sure to follow the rules properly this time — hopefully, I won’t get banned again!
Oh my god, you’ve really been through a lot. After reading your post, I can totally see how unreasonable some of Patreon’s policies are. I’m still not too familiar with how to manage membership start and end dates on Discord, but I think it’s about time I start learning. Gotta escape before the next “big purge,” haha.
