Wtf Launch is like a new toy now!! It’s crazy because I thought the Launch motor just wasn’t good enough, but it was all just in the firmware. I did a few around half hour sessions with this new firmware and I didn’t feel any heat on top of the Bluetooth led part so I guess heat wise it’s fine? I’m just blown away. THANK YOU MY DUDE!
Just hoping to clarify one thing here - does this firmware update apply to the Universal Launch or just the older style Launch?

Definitely does not apply to the Universal Launch.
I don’t know much about it to be honest, does it suffer from the same shortcomings as the original Launch?
No idea actually. I don’t own any devices - just trying to decide if I would buy a Handy or a UL. Probably just going to go with the Handy as it seems wildly popular and supported. Thanks!

can someone help me… i think ive bricked mine… its just flashing blue and red
i alao keep getting “an error has occured, reload the page and try again” when trying to do the .ign file… So im trying to revert everything back to the 1.3 firmware and now stuck in this forever connect loop when trying the kiiroo-firmware-loader page
Don’t worry, you won’t have bricked it! This might need someone like @cfs6t08p and a little more information from you (like what browser you’re using - try edge with no extensions, blockers etc), but you’ll be fine! Once you try this firmware you’ll never look back!
after a few hours trying to tshoot… i think iit was an issue with my chrome browser so i switched to another laptop with edge on it and that did the trick… mann i have 2 lauches that were dead weight… now they have new life

Just did this upgrade, took less than 5 minutes, process went smooth as sailing. 
Follow the steps on each page and you’ll be ok. Use chrome.

If OP had a Patreon or donation link I would totally go make a donation. It’s almost 2024 and I just discovered this update. Had 2 Launches sitting in a drawer. Now I may not leave my house again.

I used the 0.3 version files but I still get the misbehavior on slow (long space between positions) movement where the Launch moves quickly to the end point immediately and waits there for the next position, not slowly. Is it just me?

Yep, I’m just a dummy. If this happens to you, make sure you go into Scriptplayer settings and lower your minimum speed. Mine was at 20 by default, so I reduced it to 0. But at 0 is gets a little stuttery (not smooth). I raised this to 3 and it was better, a but smoother. I may increase this to 5 but play with this setting if you run into movement speed issues. Yeah, yeah, I know it’s obvious but some of us are dumb, like me.

Any way to get this working with a Kiiroo Keon? I think all my launches are broken in some way lmao
Edit: Or any luck repairing a broken launch’s bluetooth? I saw someone post the chips you can buy. Is it as simple as tearing it open and replacing that chip?
I wouldn’t say it’s simple, certainly not something I would recommend unless you have experience with electronics repair. But if your launch powers on and otherwise seems to run normally, replacing the module is likely to fix it.
