We build a small poll about the events. We would like to gather some knowledge to improve the events even more. So far we came up with 12 questions. We may end up adding more throughout the way. You can also give us direct feedback of course, by posting your answer here in this thread.
All votes are completely anonymous, your name doesn’t show up on the polls.
Thank you very much for taking the time to answer the questions.
We are looking forward hearing your feedback

I love Halloween and Christmas themes, there are a lot of great videos for them, i have been writing scripts on this topic for several seasons now and i still find new interesting videos, that’s why i voted for end of night as my favorite now,
and for blast from the past as unloved, simply because it is not my subject, otherwise absolutely all competitions are organized perfectly.
Regarding the duration and break, I think the ideal option is a month of competition, a month for judging and a month of preparation for the next competition, this will allow for 4 competitions per year.
I have always loved the events and have participated in all of them except the most recent one. I was not interested in doing a team event as I prefer to script alone and did not want my scripting schedule to effect anyone else who may have wound up on my team. I could have read how it was set up, but I believed this to be the rules. I personally like the events just because it spotlights creators more and incentivizes creators to better their work and to be more social with the community. Thanks for putting these on.
Thank you for all the votes so far! Happy to see so many people are voting. The events really become a labour of love for me and I and my whole team want to make them as best as possible. I think we have a great community and these events are a good way to come together and talk and share our favorite kind of content. Mixed together with some fun competition and prizes.
Thank you for your direct feedback!
Yes, Halloween and Christmas offer a lot of content. Especially Halloween. For every year, new and fitting content for Halloween comes out. Many amateur models make at least one Halloween themed video and many studios as well. And there is ton of backlog content to choose from.
The blast from the past event is pretty niche. You either are into it, or not. There is not much in between. It’s probably great if you experienced the old videos yourself. Many people are born later and never experienced the porn from the 90s, 80s, 70s. So for them it may be boring.
To be honest, I was quite skeptical about that event at first. I myself didn’t experience any porn from the 90s or earlier, I am “too young” for that. But in the end, I really liked event. We had so many entries and people here shared cool stories about their video choices. It was also interesting for me to see how porn looked back in the days. It was something new for me and I got to really like the style of them.
I am happy to hear you like the organizing so far. We put a lot of effort into the organization and try to make them as best and as professional as possible.
We are also kind of aiming for a 4 - 5 events per year rotation. Last year we had 4, we may try to go for 5 this year, but we will see.
We would be happy to see you participate in an event and dipping your toe intro scripting. Since the server situation is (hopefully) done for now and you (hopefully) have more time, you may be able to participate in the next event.
To ask you directly: I see many people voted for “The threads should be more and longer visible / pinned (theme and winner announcement) - 64%”
I also got asked by one member if the threads could be longer visible. Would it be possible to have the threads longer pinned? Or does it interfere with the overall visuals too much?
Ideally, the announcement thread would be pinned until the event starts. The actual event thread would be pinned until the winner announcement thread is up. The winner announcement thread would be pinned for like 1 - 2 weeks.
I don’t want to ask for too much, I want to be humble about the pinning thing. I am very happy and grateful we are allowed to have the threads pinned in the first place. But the forum is, and I think we all are happy about that, very active now a days. Which means, many new threads per day, much activity in other threads, which means other threads getting pushed down.
So, if you and your admin and mod team would be okay with that, would it be possible to have the threads pinned for a longer time?
Thank you for your direct feedback!
The team thing is definitely not something for everybody. I can understand people prefer doing their scripting alone and don’t want to rely on a team to get the content out. I heard from others that they thought the same, but ended up signing up anyway. In the end, they really liked it and found themselves a good team and they had a good time together.
With the team event, we wanted to “open up” the community more. Scripting is something you do for yourself, but we asked ourself, how can we get the community together to work on something together. So we ended up with a team event. This event was also something different from all the other events. Something non season themed. That is something we are aiming for for this year. More interesting and unique themes.
I am glad you enjoyed the other events so far and that you recognized how we want to put the spotlight on the creators. That is very important for us. We want to give every entry, every creator a special place in the event. Even if they don’t up in the top three, we want to give their work the proper recognition and place in the event. That is also the reason we came up with the awards. It’s a way to highlight some cool and unique things in the event, like creative script, creative presentation and so on. We creators know it may not always being easy to be a creator. We create content, put a lot of time and effort in it. But the feedback is not always there. But getting feedback, getting some kind of recognition is what drives us. If it lacks, motivation creating content may go away. With the events, we want to offer feedback for every creator and also give them recognition.
