I wanted to ask a direct question about the rules regarding script edits and re-uploads.
In many scripts, the final part switches to a male solo section, which a lot of users find annoying. The idea is simple: if someone takes an existing script, deletes only that final “solo man” part without touching anything else, and re-uploads it so others can enjoy it without that ending, is it allowed by the regulations?
If this is compliant with the community rules, we could start using a specific keyword like #SoloManFixed or #ManFixed for these edited re-uploads, so people can easily find them in the search bar.
Does anyone know if the rules allow this kind of specific trimming on someone else’s script?
To add more context on why this is important: when that final switch happens, it’s honestly shocking if it’s something you don’t want. It’s completely unexpected, and since it’s a funscript, it literally feels like someone else is suddenly taking control of your device someone who wasn’t invited to the party. That’s why being able to easily find and trim that part makes a huge difference.
The tag shefinishesthejob indicates, how the finish is being done. If that tag is chosen, it means the girl in the video is responsible for the finish. If it’s missing, chances are high the finish is done by the male.
Got it, thanks! But my idea is slightly different than using the shefinishesthejob tag. I’m not talking about how the creator tags the original post.
I’m thinking about community edits uploaded directly inside the replies of that same topic.
If a script has that male solo ending, another user could just download it, trim out that final part, and reply to the original thread with the modified .funscript file, using a keyword like #SoloManFixed.
This way, everything stays in the same topic, the original creator gets their credit, but anyone who hates that ending can just hit Ctrl+F, find the keyword in the comments, and download the pre-trimmed version.
Is doing this kind of edit and posting it in the replies allowed by the rules?
For free scripts, you can post edits under the post. For paid ones, you would have to ask the poster and maybe they would add it to wherever the paid script is stored. See the rules:
