Hi.
I’ve tried researching some topics here but it’s difficult to find the ways I can use my Quest 3 with passthrough and OSR2 on SLR.
I believe I need to either:
OPTION 1: Flash OSR2 for WIFI support. Run DEOVR on quest and enable tcode.
OPTION 2: Connect OSR2 to PC. Run DEOVR on quest — MFP on PC.
Are these still the 2 options for 2025?
Note — I’d like to set this up in the easiest way possible. i.e. switching on the device, putting on my headset and start without reconnecting or messing around with additional cables. I am not far from my accesspoint (it’s directly underneath my bedroom), but if I have to wire in another I am happy to do that for future convinience. I just want to make sure this will work the way I am thinking.
Going the ESP32 wifi route — is it easy to configure stroke lengths etc on the fly? How do I do that once I am in DEOVR streaming SLR.
I’m currently using option 2 but Heresphere instead of Deovr and my start process is usually:
This is after the initial setup and finding the sweet spot so I don’t have to worry about injuring myself.
As far as option 1 goes, never really bothered flashing the board for wifi support.

I’ve updated the firmware and device has sank and cannot connect? I selected the 0.1.6 firmware first and then tried the 0.1.5. device unresponsive.
Yeah their firmware bricked my OSR2+ as well (many others had the same experience). I don’t might not know the exact terminology, but you’ll have reset or reflash your firmware with one that works.
Who ever built your OSR2 soon be able to help you fix this! g90ak did mine and he has detailed instructions on how to resolve this!
Just for reference for after you get your OSR2 up and running again: I have the same setup as you and using MFP, Quest 3 and SLR has been extrememly streamlined. I just boot up MFP which auto connects to my OSR2+ and to DeoVR (w/ saved login info). put on my Q3, Load up DeoVR and we’re done!
I don’t see how their firmware would have made this process any faster unless I’ve missed something.

Curious what would makes you want to downgrade fw.
Otherwise looking to resolve the issue. Wasn’t obvious usecase

omg is there anywhere I could find how to reflash or reset my firmware? This slr haptics software bricked my osr2 too and I have no idea what to do with it any help would be awesome thank you so much
I recommend contacting the builder of your OSR2.
They’ve been very slow to respond and I’ve been stuck with a bit of junk for a couple weeks now do your reflash instructions only work with certain osr2s?
My manual and instructions are only intended for my customers. HOW’D YOU GET THEM!?!? 
And correct, they may not work on other boards or variants out there and may make things worse.
I updated the firmware and initially thought I had bricked the device because it became unresponsive. However, once the firmware update completed, I went to the Configurator tab, sent the configurator, and then pressed the Reset/EN button on the back of the board. The device started working again.
That said, I’m still unable to get it connected to SLR through DeoVR (PC version). Has anyone managed to get it working with SLR?
