is there a way to use them in tandem, like with a script playing for each or at least having them both react to the same one, i just ordered the edge but i already have the handy, any info would be great

You will need Lovense remote / Intiface Central / Scriptplayer / and MultiFunPlayer, also Videoplayer of choice, I use VLC. - This is my mediaplayer choice of choice, you can use whatever mediaplayer you want which works both with scriptplayer and MFP.
I use Lovense remote because I had many problems just trying to use a generic BT Dongle and getting the Edge2 to connect. You might not have those same problems.
You need to set up both Scriptplayer and MFP to play from VLC.
If you have vibe scripts great! Just put 'em into MFP. Reason I use MFP is you can use both motors from the Edge 2 individually. You can connect the Edge2 to Scriptplayer but it does not use both motors individually.

Max vibe I change to 100 & if your scripts are all doing the same thing, it just works, as it should, most of the time. [The times when your vibe is still doing something when the stroker isn’t is If the scriptor for example stops 5minutes into a pattern at 50% and does not set it back to 0% -they don’t need to - the vibe still sees something going on at 50% hence you still get vibes, this isn’t a fault or a mistake, its just the way its been scripted for a stroker device. If you are able to edit scripts you can re-adjust this].
Connect your Handy within Scriptplayer via connect to online Handy directly. Put your Stroker script into Scriptplayer.
You can also put Handy into MFP and play via Bluetooth mode.
Play whatever you put in VLC… You should now have everything doing whatever its doing.

Yes, both can be connected in initface (use the bluetooth mode on the handy). And then in multifunplayer you can set it up like (use the buttplug.io output method - i dont know if the handy method has been fixed by now, but this method is guaranteed to work):
Note that v2 is a channel you will have to add yourself as mfp doesnt have a vib2 by default.

Lovense remote isnt needed at all, a standard bluetooth dongle (well, it needs BTLE/BTv4.0 at least) can already connect.
Any videoplayer that supports the webinterface should work. I prefer MPV for it.
