Does it feel like to anyone that ever since the new update on the Handy 1, there machine feels nerfed or underpowered? Ik its not degradation of the device as I used it the previous day. Wondering if anyone feels the same or has an answer to fix it.
I would suggest joining the official Handy Discord server, there you’ll find people with the experience and knowledge to answer and give suggestions.
From stuff I’ve read, I think the newer firmware handles changing directions differently so it might slow down earlier before for long strokes? There may be settings in the on-boarding app that affect the “ramping” (if that’s the term).
At the very least, I know that app has slider range settings which you could expand after calibrating to make the device exaggerate strokes (and I think adding a millimeter or two to the top and subtracting from the bottom shouldn’t hurt the device (don’t try this without further looking into it yourself as it might void warranty)).
