I just got my sr6 today and I have some question and concerns.
Concerns:
*So in my first time using it everything worked just fine. Though the power adapter randomly stopped working. So I unplugged it for like 5 minutes then tried it again it worked for a bit then stoped again. If anyone knows why it would help greatly.
*Secondly Multifunplayer i tried to connect it to it but the button to connect was grayed out.
Questions:
*So when I put the fleshlight in what is the best way to take it back out?
*Is there a way to figure out what scripts on faptap are set up for multiaxis?
Probably contact the builder should be your first option for the power adapter issue.
I am assuming you have a usb 3.0 cable(i see its provided but idk what it is since I didnt buy a device from that builder) make sure you’re plugged into a usb 3.0 port. Cause im assuming the provided cable does power and data and not just power.
Unfortunately its always gonna be kinda awkward to take the fleshlight case out of an OSR2 or SR6. You put the device in from the top down and twist, but to get it out you have to undo the latch from above and then turn and since its a twist you kinda have to hold it in place to keep twist the case out but not spin the whole receiver.
The easier ergonomic way is to probably turn off the device and manually lift up the device to see the latch and try to get at it from head on, rather than trying to hit the latch under the device from above.
Idk about faptap, as far as I know people use it but no one really talks about it, other than people uploading scripts they didn’t make on there.
Mine just arrived from the same builder the other day, and it came with a bad power supply as well. I think there may be a bad batch of power supplies. I substituted another 5v power supply, and the unit seems to work just fine. I will be contacting the builder shortly.
The OG design for the twist receiver by tempest, which is what Im assuming the builder is using, has a sort of latch system to lock the fleshlight case in place in order for it to spin. Cause if you don’t lock the case in, if there’s some resistance then the twist receiver could theoretically spin and unlock the case from the receiver.
edit:I assumed the op was asking about the latch cause non-twist receivers you just twist to pull the case out. But if you do that with an engaged latch on a twist receiver, you just turn the case and the gears.
