Regarding the issue of using osr in bed

I’d like to set up my OSR device with a VESA mount for use in bed, but I’m struggling to find a suitable stand or bracket. Has anyone dealt with this before or have any recommendations? I’d really appreciate your advice. Thank you!

Has anyone else run into the same issue? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

I havent got one, BUT it sounds like you need to find something that clamps to the bedframe and has an arm that you can attach the vesa mount to it. i only have a handy and made a solid desk mount using pvc pipes and a camera clamp

I have contemplated different methods to make this possible and the conclusion i ended up with was to use one of those hospital tables that fit over the bed and use desk clamps (havnt bought it but thought about it lol). I thought about the setup you proposed and thought it was too difficult without fabricating a custom piece. I couldnt really find anything premade that would do the job but i also wasnt sure how to search for it either.

This has worked for me. OSR Market
Using an SR6 in Bed

Learn how to set up your SR6 device on a standard laptop stand for comfortable use in bed. (2.5m)

Stand used: Mount-It! Adjustable Laptop Stand

im using this - Amazon.com: BONTEC Dual Monitor Desk Mount, Full Motion Adjustable Monitor Stand for 13–27 Inch Screens, Heavy Duty Arms Hold Up to 22 lbs Each, VESA 75x75/100x100 mm, C Clamp and Grommet Base, Cable Management : Electronics monitor arm mount. I connected both arms together to get the length I need. Clamped to a table next to my bed, it works pretty good overall, tho a osr/sr6 can generate a lot of force and rock the table quite a bit. Im able to leave everything set up so i just swing it out of the way when not needed. Its not 100% perfect but gets the job done.
