Safety Margin: How do you set up your stroker robot?

In a seperate topic, we’re debating some generalized guidelines for scripting, specifically around the tip. More specific, it’s about which point on the dick in the video correspods to 100% in a script. And as you can imagine, different people set up their strokers differently, so there are different answers. To get a better idea and to formulate the guidelines to fit the community, please answer this poll and generate some data to base everything around.

The question is: Where do you limit your Stroker at the top relative to your penis? That is, how much safety margin do you use against slipping out?

Where do you setup the upper limit of your stroker robot?
  • Above the tip (slips out)
  • At exactly the tip (0% safety margin)
  • In the upper half of the glans (0-9% safety margin)
  • In the lower half of the glans (10-19% safety margin)
  • At the rim of the glans (20% safety margin)
  • Lower than the rim
  • I don’t care
  • I don’t know

Mostly 0% safety margin but if mutli axis it’s more like 10-19%

Good point! Multi-Axis Limiting is another topic, that is sub-optimally solved right now and I’ve been experimenting with scaling L0 in function of the other axes.

For this poll, I allowed multiple answers for this and similar reasons.

There are zero implications for scripting based on any answer anyone could give to this question.

Nobody should be attempting to script like that. If you try to be “safe” with a bunch of scripts, then some people are going to increase their range to counteract that, which might actually become unsafe when a proper script is used (i.e. one that doesn’t try to be “safe” by stopping below 100%).

Which is exactly the point of this exercise. To find out not how safe to script, but how aggressive we should go. And how much “resolution” - for a lack of a better word - there is to get creative and/or detailed at the most innervated parts.

If for example a clear majority set up their devices with their upper limit at or lower than the rim, this would necessitate extreme exaggeration upwards during scripting to even get to the sensitive parts during play. Contrast between actions should then be flattened just so the sensitive parts stimulated in the video are stimulated with the toy. On the other hand if a clear majority set it up at the very tip, then this can allow for more variety, contrast and less monotony. That’s the whole idea behind the poll.

And as we can see, it’s approximately 50/50 between upper and lower half of the glans (with the tip and rim combined). Imo this speaks against the case for a generalized rule for either extreme exaggeration nor for big contrast, such that individuals should be encouraged to script to their style and we should have about the same 50/50 fit. We might only derive a lower limit for the rim to be scripted, e.g. 70% is too low for any of the answers given, especially considering spongy sleeves with a big lag.

Also: Setup of the device limits should not allow for harm during normal, intended use, i.e. 0-100 percent including considering stiffness of the setup, speed and momentum.
