When searching by typing (magnifying glass 
), posts thumbnail doesn’t show and I have to open one by one the topics in a new tab to make sure I don’t loose the search tab, just to take a peek at what’s it’s all about.
Often when I come back to the main tab, the search page unecessarly reloads too.
Would be way more ergonomic and simpler to just display the previews like when we click in a category.

As much I also would like this too however I believe it was asked for in the past however it was found to not be possible due to Discourse itself if I recall correctly. (I could be mistaken)
If I recall this isn’t possible.
I will investigate again in case this has changed but it may be better to make the request here:
