Any chance of using this opportunity to add more specific group tags (e.g.: #multiple-male or #multiple-female, or something else that represents those scenarios)?
Previously it was discussed that gangbang for multi-male, reverse-gangbang for multi-female and orgy for multi-female+multi-male could be used, but those tags may be “too strong” for some of the content and not fit well for general usage (most threesome scenes aren’t a gangbang-type scene, for example). Maybe it’s not the case with real content since I don’t follow it, but I feel like there’s an abundancy of scenes with 3+ people in animation that isn’t captured by the tags, and as such is relatively hard to either search for or filter.
You can try filtering threesomefoursome etc but I agree that more specific tags wouldn’t be bad the only issue is someone has to add all these tags to old topics and existing topics.
I thought about that before, but that doesn’t end up encoding the same information. For example, a threesome can be FFF, MFF, MMF or MMM. A foursome can be FFFF, MFFF, MMFF, MMMF, MM MM… Maybe it could be even more complicated if you add futa/trans into the mix.
Some sites, like nhentai, actually have a tag for each type of threesome and foursome, but that would be a lot of tags and could be hard to manage if there are different amounts of males/females in the different scenes of a video. A different set of tags to say there are multiple M or F could encode that information without being too specific.
I think that would be outside the scope of the tag group.
The tags are to indicate what kind of content to expect from a sexual orientation perspective.
multiple-male would be gay and multiple-female would be lesbian.
I do think MMF and MFF are tags that could be used instead but those are also outside the scope of these tags.
I think the combination of gay / lesbian + gangbang / orgy / threesome covers this context.
This could actually be done. Doesn’t need to be a required tag, but I can make a mutually exclusive group of tags.
I have set a series of threesome tags for m, t, and f (male, trans, female)
I do not think the gay tag should be getting added to MMF (or lesbian to FFM) threesomes any more than the straight tag should be. It’s bad enough that it’s gotten added to all the trans scripts being made by straight scripters and enjoyed by a straight audience, incidentally overriding mute tracking settings (though I am assuming this is only due for the edit and new threads will be correctly muted).
Isn’t there a bisexual tag that would be perfect for this?
I don’t think anyone is adding the gay or lesbian tag to threesome content and the trans tag stands on it’s own without the bisexual tag I don’t personally watch that stuff but it’s clearly not straight.
You should update this topic @VladTheImplierRequired Tagging
Ok, but if that’s that case shouldn’t the straight tag also be included in your prior example now that it’s being added as a required tag? Or did you consider it to be implied?
Also, to reply to shownshadow, bisexual was only meant for the threesome tag, I just got derailed for a bit. Though I agree that “trans” should stand on its own as its own thing… without the gay tag (or the straight tag!) as, even if it’s “clearly not straight”, it’s pretty clearly a straight fetish. You can see this just from the view numbers trans scripts get. To put it into perspective, if you search for the gay tag by most viewed the top 12 results are: 2 bisexual, 5 femboy, 2 futa and 3 trans. That’s not the gays.
But whatever, that’s clearly something already decided and I’m getting distracted again. The subject is threesome tags.
Isn’t that a big reason to have neutral and objective tags like #multiple-male/female (trans/futa?)? Existing tags already break here:
because a scene with multiple women isn’t automatically a lesbian scene and a scene with multiple men isn’t automatically a gay scene.
As it stands, mmf and gangbang should also be tagged gay, for example, which I feel would be a detriment to the system while we should be working to make it better and more precise.
I have a clarification question. If there is a girl on girl section where no male is present preceeding a ffm, should it be marked lesbian and ffm? Is the lesbian tag only for when no male is in the scene?
