Solace Pro Review

I’ve had the Solace Pro for almost two weeks now, and after going back and forth with Lovense support for a while I figure now’s a good time to post a review.

I’ll say right away that I never tried the “AI” features. I’m not interested in those myself. However, the scattered other reviews I’ve found match up with the issues I’ve noted below.

First up, the mount. The part of the mount that connects to the toy is better than the original Solace with the ability to adjust the height of the toy in the mount. The desk clamp is exactly the same, except that the bottom pad is only barely resting on the screw and falls right off whenever there’s no pressure on it. It works, but it’s not a good omen.
Ergonomically, for hands-free the overall design is totally fine. If you want to hold it while in use it’s not exactly comfortable or easy. There’s so much mass and force behind the device that it jostles your whole hand and arm around with it.
Personally, I really like the sleeve it comes with. I find a lot of stuff is a bit too tight for my liking but this is just loose enough to glide nicely, but things like that are down to personal preference. The additional vagina sleeve they sell for Solace Pro is completely identical on the inside to the regular sleeve. The only difference is the appearance of the entrance hole.

I’ll try to keep this short, but actual functionality is where the real issues are.

First, Solace Pro emits a horrendous high-pitched whine while in motion at ANY speed. You won’t really hear it if you’re wearing earbuds or headphones, but that’s still not good.
There’s significant input delay all the time and it isn’t consistent. The device is unable to follow simple patterns, creating phantom strokes, stuttering and missing movements entirely such as moving too deep or too shallow, or too fast or slow. The in-app display even shows what the device should be doing. And it’s not just the in-app panel. Patterns in the Lovense app do the exact same thing, and it’s even worse when trying to use Intiface to connect to your PC for scripts. If you do manage to get the input delay matched up it doesn’t even matter because the first time it misses an input it falls out of sync again, which happens basically immediately every single time.

Here’s a demo video using the Lovense app.

The whine can be difficult to hear in the video, but the phantom movements and missed inputs and such are very clearly visible even at this low speed.

I’ve sent that video to Lovense support with the above explanation (albeit with nicer wording because I wanted to be polite about things).
This was their response.

So by Lovense’s own admission, Solace Pro can’t follow inputs accurately. Lovense is straight up selling something that does not work. They want you to just have faith that it’ll work properly eventually.
Stay away from this thing, and preferably stay away from Lovense.
