Special symbols not recognized by mfp

Wanted to ask this. Is there a way to get mfp to recognize special symbols in the names of funscripts. What sometimes happens is the video shows up with (%) in place of what ever special symbols was originally there like a special emoji. Once this happens the funscript fails to load. Gets kinda annoying when i have a playlist set up. I know i can rename the files but when in the middle of a session its kinda cumbersome to stop everything. So wanted to ask if anyone has ever had this happen and what the work around would be

Can you post an example of the video name in MFP and the actual one? And also what video player you are connecting to.
MFP should decode filenames automatically unless they are double encoded.

Yea, that was a bug in v1.31 with PotPlayer, fixed in later versions, as workaround you could use path modifiers.

Add find/replace modifier and set find to (\.mp4).*$, replace to $1, and enable regular expressions. It will remove stuff after “.mp4” and your scripts should load.

ohh ok so in other MFP builds its been fixed correct? if thats the case i’ll just wait for a public relase of the new builds

I mean you could wait or just fix it by adding the modifier:

Ohhh thats what u meant. I’ll give the fix a go
