I’ve had the SR6 for a while with no issues took a break for a month. When I turned it back on it would continually stutter for half a second then repeat that.
It’s clearly trying to home but can’t make it. If I coerce it into the home position it will immediately lock in place and work like normal. Until mid script where it loses its place again and start jittering again.
not sure if this is a code issue or a motor issue have any similar problems?
Can you double check for any loose connectors/ fasteners? Also try updating your MFP version, I think some of the home features are only on newer builds. I could be wrong but it might help.
After messing around with it for a bit it was either a loose connector or some of the screws were loose. I went over everything a few times tightening and pushing the cables into the prongs after getting it set back up it works!
If I dont get back to this then its working fine.
Yeah I had a similar issue at one point and I “think” it was a loose fastener as well. I’m not 100% sure as I also went into the firmware but I thought it could be relevant so I gave my 2 cents. Glad you got it working!
