Depending on the design, the battery can instantly deliver a large current, allowing stable operation even when the load changes suddenly. (Google Translate)
Update 3 shows that they are using a USB-C port for power and charging. And it will be compatible with USB Power Delivery (PD) standards
IMHO pulled by the ears - here they declare compliance with the standard USB PD2.0 (100W - 20Vx5A max).
So any certified power banks will be able to give the required voltage and current.
Moreover, at 65 W charging will be enough not only for the engine but also for charging the built-in battery.
Now the question is why the battery?
Apple Vision Pro did away with the built-in battery for the lightness of the device and made it external.
I may have missed this in one of the previous update threads, but I believe the pro is compatible with Fleshlights, and an adapter will be available for it.
@handyAlexander Do these devices have a new axis of movement and/or any other significant new feature when compared to the regular Handy, besides the battery?
A small consideration might be to handle larger sleeves? I tried out the 3d printed Fleshlight mods but found them quite ungainly with use (not too menton the engine struggles), a heavier unit may negate that issue, plus the obvious benefit of portability.
would be nice to use my Anker power bank for this reason
Will the battery be removable and replacable?
Keeping a battery charged at 100% all the time kills it in no time (and is a fire hazard, too). Plus it adds needless weight, which is bad for handsfree mount.
Making it detachable solves both issues and prevents customers from needing to buy a new unit just because the battery died.
I hope T-Code support via the USB connector is among these new features. There are many apps out there for that and I believe what most people wish the most for is an offline solution that isn’t as jerky as Handy 1’s Bluetooth support.
A bigger motor is what I’m waiting to hear about. I use mine with a fleshlight go. It works great, and the motor can handle it and great speeds. Mine only alarms out on 2 VERY fast scripts. But after 6-12 months it will kill the handy. The motor’s shaft will decouple from the rotor. I actually repaired my first one a couple of times, but those repairs only lasted a couple of months.
All that said, when the new hand arrived, I tried out the new sleeve it came with. And the truth is there is just no comparison. The sleeves feel janky, and the band doesn’t hold them securely enough so a lot of very fast scripts are weakened by the sleeve moving separate from the carriage. I compared them a couple of times, and there is just no going back. The sleeve went in the trash after only 2 days. Now even with the reduced weight of the GO, it struggles with the end cap on, but it feels AMAZING while it is trying. So if the Pro can handle the full size fleshlight, it will be good. If it can handle one with the end cap on, it will be great. And if it can handle it without breaking every 6 months, it will be Godly. But as with every new toy, I remain skeptical.
Hello! I was wondering if pre-orders were limited or do I just have until a certain date to pre order it?
Does it come with a charger?
Or does the Handy1 charger work with the Handy2 charger?
The Handy 1 power supply connected to the device with a round power socket. This power supply will not work with the Handy 2.
The Handy 2, as stated, will have a USB-C socket and will work with the USB PD standard. That means you can use any power supply compliant with the USB PD 2.0 and 3.0 standards Whether one of these will be supplied with the new device, they have not said.
