The Handy 2 - Update #7

ClickOn System

Adjusting the strap while trying to hold the device in place hasn’t always been easy. Now, you can use both hands to secure the sleeve in the strap first, then simply click The Handy into place. A magnetic system helps guide the connection—even in low light.

We’re also working on a full range of ClickOn-compatible accessories, including spinning sleeves, pressure sleeves, double band holders, a Fleshlight adapter, and more. We’ll also provide access to 3D files for those interested in creating their own.

This proves the handy team understands the market better than all the others that keep attempting to make IoT strokers.

ClickOn compatible accessories.
Does that mean we will get twist function? If we get 1st party twist support it’s an instant upgrade from gen1 !

Where it’s a magnet does that mean the holder/sleeve could be turned 90 degrees for side/rub action? Or will it click in place preventing this?

Sell extra holders separately to buy - or include three (for free) with the device:) - so you can just switch between sleeves without messing with velcro straps. Gotta be a very strong magnet to keep from falling off though, no? I’m sure you have it figured out, lol. Why was I not on the handy development/ideas team - what with all of my expertise?

They did list spinning sleeves, although I assume that would just be mechanical and not driven by a script.

hm magnets YeY or NaY The magnets better be realy strong or its a Electro magnet ? powered by the handy Good idea if thats it  :hand_with_index_finger_and_thumb_crossed:

Yes True And (Sex) Sells…

So theoretically you could embed the magnet inside the sleeve and forgo the strap altogether – if the sleeve is engineered with enough structural integrity.

One of my biggest peeves is that Handy sleeves have frequent challenges with staying in the strap–unless you crank the strap down so tight as to impact your experience.

The magnet isn’t for holding the sleeves in place, it just makes it easier to use the ClickOn attachment method.
It does appear that sleeves can be designed to be compatible with being attached without the strap.

Very exciting stuff. Old handy will go into the compost

The Fleshlight adapter sounds like a must have accessory. I actually bought a full size fleshlight but it was too heavy and I can’t print an adapter. So I cut it and used the smaller end (about 4" in length) and it actually my favorite sleeve now. I cut slits 2 on the side where the fleshlight fans out extra material so I can feed the pro strap into so it holds on both sides inside the strap. It actually works very well and stay in place. But I love the idea of an actual adapter on the new Handy. There are so many people who do not print their own adapters so I’m excited to hear Handy will finally sell an adapter (which I’d gladly pay)

I’ve had my Handy since 2022 and still works great. It’s the best invention ever!! I can’t imagine not having it now.

I wonder if the new version will still fit all the old sleeves we currently are using?
Also one of the updates showed a black nubby silicone covering, I do not understand that, how will the head screw flow up and down if it’s covered in that black silicone? maybe I don’t get it. lol

Also was the original Handy a kickstarter? I bought it once it was out so I don’t remember. Why would version 2 be a kickstarter, doesn’t Handy company (now established) have enough money to just make it available to the public without it being a kickstarter? My apologies as I don’t know how this stuff works.

Thank you for all the updates, fun to watch them.

I was kinda out but the “double band holders” brought me back in. If they also have a double length sleeve, this will be the first product I’ve ever backed on Kickstarter

Based on the description it doesn’t sound like the magnet is there to hold the attachment in place. It seems that it’s merely to help guide it when locking it in place with a different mechanism.

Not sure if we’re getting Twist support, unless that magnet can transmit electrical current and script data.

They do mention spinning sleeves, but that doesn’t sound like they’re referring to a twist axis.
It might be possible to manufacture a ClickOn attachment that has such functionality and either connects to your software in parallel as a separate device or even communicates with the Handy 2 to maintain accurate syncing.

Probably not something that’s in production or even planned, but there’s room for 3rd parties to at least make something functional.
I’m unsure if it’s possible to have the Handy 2 handle the extra weight required tho.

Well, there is a USB slot on the device. It’s not a huge leap to attach a mechanical spinner and plug it into the USB for power and data.

So no side/rub action then. That would of been a good idea.
